Wow was I surprised at the power of this little guy! It took about 6 or 7 seconds to achieve a full froth. I'm using it to smooth out my matcha green tea in milk, and incidently I forgot my tsp of sugar, but it was fine without it so I'm going to stop using the sugar. But this frother was way more amazing than I anticipated. Be sure NOT to hold it under the water to rinse (like an electric toothbrush) bc you'll get whatever's on the frother all over your kitchen haha. So I dunk it in a cup of warm water and done! It couldn't be easier or faster. I had been using a smoothie cup on mini blender for my matcha but this is WAY faster and no clean up except the quick twirl in the water. I don't think it would work for protein shakes, and if it does, it might really work the battery life but I didn't try it for that, but this is a frother, not a blender, right? The price is amazing. I've only used it a few times so I can't speak to battery life or how long the frother itself will last but for the low price, who cares when I eventually will need to replace it.TIPS:1. Place anything in powder form on TOP of liquid. That keeps powder pockets from forming at the bottom of the glass.2. Put the frother IN the liquid before you hit the power button! Hahahahaa. Learned that lesson! (Maybe should have read more reviews LOL)The thumb power button only stays on while you're pressing it and it's super comfortable in the hand that way. I LOVE the stand! The tiny footprint keeps it right on my kitchen counter and the red is a very red red which matches my kitchen so well.Shipping was fast and packaging was SUPER awesome in a box and wrapped down onto a cardboard base to keep it from moving. VERY happy with this purchase! I'll add before and after pics of what 6 or 7 seconds with the frother does.

I had been looking for a frother for a little while, but was always getting hung up on some slight issues: reviews, cost, bells and whistles, etc.I was tired of looking and decided to just buy something on the cheaper side. I figured it would buy me time till I could figure out what perks I wanted with a "better" frother. I saw this one, the price was cheap enough for me, it came with a stand and it's purple! So I just jumped at it.I have now had this frother for 3 months and I LOVE It! I have used it every single morning since I received it. I use it to blend my powdered collagen in my coffee easily. I've even added MCT oil and it makes it perfectly frothy.I use rechargeable batteries to save on cost.The body of the frother has this cool smooth/soft feel. I find it comfortable to touch, and it isnt some cheapy plastic feel.I dont typically like clutter or many appliances on my counter, but when this is hanging on the stand it is so compact it is hardly noticeable. It's even pretty sturdy.When you have a good amount of juice in the batteries, this definitely gives a great swirl. Sometimes if I don't pay attention, the power of the frother actually makes big enough waves to splash over.I have now even convinced my husband into using this after he saw how well it worked.Clean up is simple. Cup of Hot water, a teeny drop of soap, swirl, swirl, swirl, rinse off and Viola! Clean!I have yet to have an issue. I don't see it conking out anytime soon. I'm glad I didn't get a more expensive one. Really do enjoy this.If I had a complaint, I do wish the wand would be a bit longer so I could fit taller coffee mugs. Sometimes when using taller mugs I forget to leave some room so I don't submerge it too deep. But even when I did have liquid higher than normal, it hasn't give me any problem.

I bought this little mixer for an unconventional purpose .... we have a rescue kitty who needs Kitten Milk Replacer mixed up several times a day.As the kitty grows, he is taking more formula, and I decided to streamline the process by making a larger batch about 3 times a day.It's really important that the formula is well mixed. If it isn't, it clogs the teeny feeding teat on the bottles the kitty drinks from. As he still has night feeds, this kind of disruption is just a PITA for all LOLThis mixer has worked really well in mixing kitty formula in room temp water. The stand is a nice bonus - the mixer is always right there on the counter, washed off & ready for the next use.As for frothing milk for a hot drink, I am not sure the mixer has quite enough "oomph" to give a "Coffee Store" result. It certainly mixes well, and froths a little. But not as much as some people may want.This isn't an issue for me, as I'm not using the mixer for my coffee etc.However, overall this is a great mixer and suits my needs perfectly.Just a heads up ..... it does not come with batteries, so you will need 2 x AA's for this.I totally recommend this mixer!!

Design: 5Overall quality: 3I've used a few BonJour frothers before purchasing this one. The quality bar is definitely higher on those, though their design generally leaves something to be desired. This frother has an easy to push button, a simple stand, and a straightforward battery replacement procedure; something the BonJour forthers have all lacked. Unfortunately, the stick is almost an inch shorter (see picture), the battery compartment is way too tight, and the general quality of the materials feels lower; the wire that makes up the stand is noticeably thinner, for instance.All that said, it stayed true (didn't wobble) until the motor died - which happened after about a year of near daily use. It could easily froth milk, though I usually used it to mix 'instant breakfast', and occasionally hot chocolate - where I had to be careful, as it was powerful enough to mix the cocoa right out of my cup if I wasn't paying attention.One last note: It seem likely to me that the company who's logo is on this frother is not the sole distributor, as, at least when I got it, there were dozens of others that looked exactly the same, in various colors and logos, listed along side it here on amazon. I purchased this one because it was the cheapest at the time.
