The Universal Ammeter Gauge Meter for Car/Boat/Truck was a perfect fit and worked very well. I am very pleased with it and the price. Came quickly and seems very durable.

Works great
Functions as it should. Should be used in equipment that uses a lot of amps. My cub cadet 782 doesn’t draw much amperage, so the meter doesn’t really move, but the backlight is really nice. I have wired the light to my key switch so when the headlights come on. The backlight does too. Very nice.

Bright Clean Appearance
Gauges show well and look professional. The LED lighting is superb. The varied colors are helpful & attractive. These worked out great for me. At first I was disappointed in the Plastic bracketing, but as it turned out they all worked fine + the ammeter required no isolation because the plastic is a non-conductor of electricity.

Right item for the right job
Well I put this on my 8N tractor and it works great

Melted at 30 amp
The terminals in this ammeter literally melted with 30 amp charge going through it. The needle was sticky and had to tap it to get it to read. The bottom of the gauge melted out from the plastic housing. Fortunately, it was on a tractor and I was present when it happened. I got about 1/2 hour use from it.

This was used to replace the original ammeter in a Cockshutt 40 tractor manufactured in 1958. It was an actual plug and play into a 65 year old machine. Looks good in there too.
