I bought this ironing mat because of restricted space in our laundry room in order to iron my flannel shirts. The mat fits perfectly on top of a standard dryer and does not let much heat through to damage anything underneath of it. I use this thing on a weekly basis and it has been worth the investment.

This mat was far more useful than I expected. I used on the table top and also on as a replacement for the portable ironing table. It is just big enough for any item that I have. Very grateful since it was so reasonable.
