Will it charge my phone with the USB port?

Yes. I stream audio through the phone to the radio via bluetooth and charge it at the same time. See other answer. The radio must be in certain play modes to charge. Pretty handy.

Does this radio require an additional purchase to act as a Bluetooth receiver? If so, how much does it cost? The expanded description suggests this.

It is equipped to receive Bluetooth right out of the box. Also, I must say that it does an excellent job of doing so! I stream directly from my tablet to the radio using Bluetooth nightly and it’s just awesome!

Is this a clock radio?

Yes it is a radio with a digital clock on the front so yes it is a clock radio. The digital clock by the way receives a signal that keeps it perfectly on time with the bureau of standards clock so it’s always accurate.

Does it have a snooze function and is it easy to activate?

I never really use snooze but I'm including the info I got from the manual. Hope it helps! Snooze1. When the alarm sounds, press any button other than the Standby button will silence the alarm for 5 minutes. "SNOOZE' will appear on the display.2. To adjust the silence time for the snooze timer, press and hold the Info/menu button to enter the menu setting.3. Rotate the Tuning control rotary until "SNOOZE X" shown on the display, then press the Tuning control rotary to enter the setting. Rotate the Tuning control rotary to adjust the silence time. There are 5,0,5 and 20 minutes for the snooze timer.4. To cancel the snooze timer while the alarm is suspended, press the Standby button.
