Dhoop Sticks - 12 Boxes of 10 Sticks Each - Total 120 Sticks - 5" King

While this is not same brand (Panchavati 2inch sticks) I had purchased during my "visit" to the Middle East 2003-2004 I can say this brand is just as potent. I would recommend using only partial stick for small areas.Pros:- strong perfumed scent- lingering distinctive, pleasant smell- Purchase was packed well, sticks were undamaged.Cons:- NoneSide note: People complain Dhoop sticks don't fit their traditional incense burners. Dhoop does not use a wooden stick. It is similar to the cone type incense but won't stand on its own... There is an included holder, the metal ring, on each box of Dhoop Sticks. Leave the ring on the box. Do not attempt to remove this ring and then burn the Dhoop stick in the ring... it will not stand on its own.. Otherwise, you can use a small piece of clay on a flame retardant surface, or stand the Dhoop stick in a shot-glass size container of sand, salt, or any other non flammable substance.Oh, and PLEASE blow the flame out once a glowing ember has been established... these are NOT candles.

I like incense to set an environmental tone. My main go-to is Nag Champa. This conjures up memories of a 1960s record shop. I also love Palo Santo for its subtlety. I use these Dhoop Sticks for a heavier presence and a small amount goes a long way.

kinda dark but smells fresh enough with a good amount of spices and creaminess. not too overpowering but still potent

I love these dhoop sticks. It had a very earthy wood scent and similar smell to Nag Champa but different. So if you like that you’ll appreciate the woody and sandalwood type scent for this one. The smoke spreads and fills up a room well, and removes any odor there was which I love. Again this is more for people who enjoy the stronger scent of incense and love the consistent smoke (burn) of it.

The packaging is very poor. Most of the sticks are broken in the box itself. Many are glued to each other and they break when you try to separate them. The picture shows the state in which you get them. Only 3 sticks were of the full length, but they are glued to each other, so may also break. This is the 5th box I am opening, and the experience has been the same. The stick holder is meaningless. It is better to have a separate holder rather than trying to stand the stick in that eye on the box. The scent was ok. The sticks burn well, but most of them are broken.

I found this stuff ages ago in a little shop. I discovered that great insence doesn't always come in a cone or on a stinky stick! I use the box as a holder, and save any bits that don't burn to use all together later. These also work great flat in those holders with the fuzzy fireproof inserts. I would wear this as a cologne! It sets a warm, inviting mood and isn't overwhelming in a room. I love dhoop sticks now, but these are the best I've used. If you dig these, try Arabic bakhoor!

These have a foo foo perfumey smell (I'm a guy, maybe a women would like the smell), they don't fit into the holder built into the boxes they come in, they keep breaking, you would have to buy/use a separate incense burner to use them, they burn quickly and the smell doesn't last long. Save your money. I'll not be buying anything from this seller again.
