Silver Type C Charger

Brought for my son. Seems fine

The functionality is good, but the USB port could be more securely fastened in place. It fits well in my phone's USB-C port. The charging station is fast, taking about 40 minutes to an hour for a full charge. Overall, it's a good value for the price.

Works OK. A bit in the cheap side.

FAST CHARGING & THEY BROKE

I got to use it at work on my desk. It doesn't charge very well/quickly. I had to stop using it because it depletes faster than it charges so doesn't really help anything.

So I purchased two of these, thinking it would be great to have on my desk and charge while I listen to music at work and home. I assumed (I know, I know....never assume) this would be able to do USB 3 speeds and fast charging since it was USB-C. This dock barely charges my Pixel 5a. After doing some investigating, I find this is only a USB 2.0 dock with a USB-C connector. It does not charge any faster than 500ma and it takes almost 6 hours to go from 43% to full while sitting in the dock and playing Pandora through my Bluetooth earbuds. I took the dock home and put it on my new gaming computer and got the same thing. I then tried using it to transfer some new music to the phone and it does not do data transfers faster than about 150-160mbps. It isn't that big a deal, I only transferred about 15gb of MP3s and it took a few minutes, but I was still hoping for USB 3.0 speeds since it was USB-C. Does it work....yes. Does it work well...no. Disappointing, but I am madder at myself for not verifying.

Does not fit if you have a case on the phone. Do people actually use their phones without a case?

The winning point of this dock station is the adjustable position of the USB connector to the smartphone, which allows using the station with the phone in the case of any design. Not to mention the beautiful design and relatively heavy base (i.e., the stable installation with the open phone case).
