Thayers Original Witch Hazel Astringent Pads with Aloe Vera

Great for a quick cleansing. Feels clean but not drying. Cuts the oil and rinses clean but not squeaky clean. The ‘rough’ side is great for a quick exfoliation. It’s probably the best witch hazel pad with natural ingredients. Smell is neutral, no strong alcohol smell. Container seals well so the pads don’t dry out. Am on my number 20 jar? Haha.

Received the authentic product in great condition. Packaging is good and easy to use. The swabs are easy to use and didnt cause any reactions whatsoever. Definitely recommend!

These are amazing for a quick refresh/toning! Pros: the non woven pads are excellent even for my stubbly face. They both clean and apply the generous soaking of witch hazel. - the properties of witch hazel are seriously underrated. Reduces acne. Removes sweat and grease. Leaves the skin tight, toned and yet not over-worked. Prevents most black and whiteheads. - I use twice daily. In the morning after my shower, to cool and subdue the skin (I like hot showers!) In the evening/night after work. I work in an extremely dry and abrasive environment (airport terminal and ramp) so my skin reacts severely by the end of my shift. Witch hazel in this form is ideal to cleanse, cool and calm the skin before applying a moisturizer. With these I can get home feeling like I have been in a desert all day, face glistening with sweat and grease. A quick wash then application of these pads, leaves me feeling cool, refreshed and ready to sleep. As a man, I resent spending money and time on "cosmetics" but these little beauties are not a luxury! Cons- not many. - the provided container is not very leak proof once unsealed. Don't be tempted to pack as-is in your baggage. It will leak! Put a few pads and solution in a leak proof container like a salad dressing pot. Or take along a sealed pack. It seems witch hazel finds it's way out of the container no matter how carefully packed! - considering a bottle of distilled witch hazel is not expensive (~£3/$5) these seem expensive. But it's not the same experience using cotton pads and a bottle of otc witch hazel. This product is too raw and smells somewhat like a house fire aftermath.

This feels good on the skin and has really smoothed my skin out. I definitely was this missing step in my routine. A rookie mistake I made the first time is not separating the pads. The pads are super thin and one goes a long way, so make sure to seperate!

This product is exactly what I have been looking for! With acne prone sensitive skin I wanted something that would help unclog pores but also wouldn’t damage my skin. I’ve been using the pads a couple of times a day to get rid of oil and it works extremely well.
