Buy it!! It’s AMAZING
I have a 2011 GMC Acadia with original headlights. So you can imagine the grime on a 13 year old car. I don’t know if this would do the job on something like that solely by itself because we first bought a different kit off amazon that had sanding pads for a drill so we got a good chunk of it off prior to using it. However, after the first cleaning with the other kit it then went for roughly 5 months before I used this kit on it. When I tell you to keep repeating those sanding steps until it is clear I am not kidding. Don’t be lazy on this step, it will not work properly if you don’t get as much of the grime off as possible. The little double sided sanding pad was fine for my small hands to use, someone with larger hands might find it difficult to grip though. They do give you gloves though which is handy but again, they fit my small hands perfectly so someone with larger hands would want to use their own. Once I completed enough cycles of the sanding steps I applied the wipe new and it glistens like a brand new headlight. I wish I had taken before photos to show the difference, it’s so worth it, especially if you have a newer car that doesn’t have so much build up inside and outside the headlights, it’s a great way to restore them cheap and easy. 10/10! (Also important to note I bought this kit then my timing chains went and it took me 2 months to get the car fixed, so this kit sat forgotten in my trunk for 2 winter months and worked like brand new when I used it, the wipe was perfectly saturated still!)

Amazing product! Do your prep work first!
Works great! Prior to trying this product, I always sanded my headlights, and then polished them with a random orbital before ceramic coating them. This also works really well, but this product works even better! I wet sanded using 1,000-3,000 grit sand paper, and then applied this product. The results are great! This particular set of lights has some deep gouges and crazing that aren’t fixable, but for what I paid I am beyond pleased. If it holds up for 2 years or more before needed redone, I’ll be even happier. Highly recommend!

Rustoleum Wipe New headlight restorer
I had a weird problem; 4 years ago, not long after purchasing my 2016 Kia Optima, I installed headlight protective film. Starting a few months ago, the film on the passenger side headlight began to become hazy; no idea why as the driver side was pristine. Not wanting to get out a heat gun and remove the film, I looked for headlight restoration kits that didn't specifically require sanding (you can't sand/polish the film). The instructions for this Rustoleum kit stated that if the headlight was clear when the lens was wet, there was no need to sand; this was the case for me. Following the instructions, I cleaned the lens with soap (I used dish soap), rinsed and dried it thoroughly using the kit's included microfiber cloth. I then applied the Wipe New solution using the pre-moistened Wipe New cloth. The end result wasn't perfect but was a very noticeable improvement; It's been about a week now, with rain, and the film / lens still looks good. I don't know how long it'll last on the film but, even I had to re-apply this annually, the cost is low enough for it not to be an issue.

Buy it!
This stuff is FANTASTIC! Easy to apply and the results are astonishing. My headlight were totally frosted over with build-up to the point I could not see the lines in the road. One application and POW!!!!!! crystal clear headlights. I mean CRYSTAL CLEAR. I thought my eyes were going at first but this product literally let me see again. I drive to work early in the morning hours and can see the road like it was daylight. I went through a whole year driving blindly to work and this product worked wonders for me. If I sound excited I am. It saved me lot of trouble trying to get.to work safely and on time. I must be truthful and say this is only my third drive with my improved headlights and hope the product lasts for some time. We'll see. Right now I'm enjoying the excellent results and just bought another kit for the shelf. Six stars plus.

WELL VENTILATED ROOM, Unsure First Time Use
When they say, "use product in a ventilated area," you may want to just leave your garage door open - this product is STRONG on the inhalation side of products. I did not have much hazy or smokiness to the outside lens of my headlight, and I wanted to try this product after seeing some positive reviews. I however use it on a cool day, in my garage, with the door open, the smell stuck for hours - wicked. I followed the steps as directed on the instruction sheet included in the kit, I decided to go with the oxidation and polish pad (which I got many finger cramps because how small it was. After I dried the lens off completely I went over it with the wipe cloth and it started to make a difference. Where I found the problem was after the "drying" process when I found streaks on my headlight. See my two attached photos for the results before and after. You can tell a difference, but I really wish I did not have streaks. The other concern I have is it seems there's now a frothy coat on the lens that when I look at it, I can tell something has been wiped on. What I recommend to user - USE PAINTERS TAPE around the edges of your headlights on the paint side, so you don't risk scratching or getting product on the paint. It does say that you can wipe it off, but why redo or go back over work that you just did. What recommended to company - Where are your demonstration videos, I went to the website and could not find any... all you have is product and social media links - no HOW TO or TIPS/TRICKS video. *UPDATE, 6/21 - Rust-Oleum reached back out regarding the streaking and looking to try product one more time. Stated you can use the polish pad to remove the layer if streaked. 6/26 - Received new kit to attempt to retry the product, customer service has pleasantly been great to work with (3 stars to 4 stars).
