Decent set, fits well I was worried about that because I have bigger than average hands for a female and they were a perfect fit for me. The gloves protect enough for accidental touches of heat styling tools, but I wouldn't go around touching these heated tools on purpose or for extended periods of time, you will definitely get burned. I tested them out on the highest heat setting of 425°F on my straightener, and I could still feel heat through the gloves, so I excerised caution. I'd advise the same of anyone else.

The gloves do the trick. And the clamps were a bonus. I wish I could’ve found smaller gloves, but I searched and searched and found none that were small size. These are loose on my women’s medium (I take a size 8 glove) hands.

I started looking for a product like this after my college-aged daughter burnt the heck out of her hand on her curling iron. After reading the reviews on a number of gloves I decided to try this pair. What I discovered is that these gloves fit her delicate hands as well as my large mom-hands. To test their effectiveness I let my curling iron heat up and then I 'grabbed' the heated barrel. I felt heat begin to build in the gloves but there was plenty of time to pull my hand away. Which is to say that these aren't oven gloves. You're not going to be able to grab a 450F degree casserole dish and carry it to the dining room. But you are going to be able to keep your hands safe because they give you time to put the curling iron down if you've lost control of it.

Purchased these after the pink ones left pink color in my daughters hair. These are great. Protected my and her hands against the heat. Would definitely order again..

Very loose making it difficult to use. I end up taking off the gloves and just dealing with the occasional burn. Keeps me sharp & on my toes.

This glove is PERFECT to wear when using a curling brush. It protects against burns if the heated device accidentally brushes against my hand, and the tight weave of the fabric does not snag on the brush's teeth, as my last protective glove did. Completely satisfied with the level of protection! My only criticism is that despite washing the glove first (tossed in the washer with similar colors), it still carries a faint chemical odor. But I'd still recommend it highly for its protective properties, comfort, and solid construction.

These gloves have been a lifesaver for me. They resist the heat so you can avoid burning your hands from the dryer getting too hot. They are affordable too!
