Very well made, my puppy is comfortable in it and it has gotten me plenty compliments already. As a male, I like this much better than the Paris Hilton style puppy bag.

My 11 pound dog fits in this backpack. There is no extra room to move but she is just going to sit and look out anyway. I was surprised the bottom wasn't a little wider but it doesn't seem to be an issue. My one complaint is wishing for a strap on top rather than so much in the middle. I feel like I need to hold the straps on the backpack to give me a little more support from the weight of my dog. The hole for her head is adjustable and she liked having one of her paws out. If your dog would jump than I would just sinch it tighter so they can't wiggle out.

I use this to take my mini poodle to work on my bike. She's loves going for bike rides over the Williamsburg bridge into Manhattan. She snuggles up nicely inside this bag. My poodle weighs about 7lbs and is a perfect fit for this bag.

My dog was afraid when I put her in it, but calmed down once I started walking around. She felt safe. The pack is easy to carry. I wish it had a higher strap at mid-back level for front use, but great product.

We love it!Looking forward to some longer hikes with my girl!She's 3.5lbs and has plenty of room.Just a heads up.The bottom strap isn't super long, so I have to have it up pretty high to be comfortable.If you are smaller than a women's jean size 14 than you should be just fine there.Any bigger & you probably won't be able to use it.Sturdier than expected, should hold up forever!

Awesome!!!! My 8 lb shihtzu fits perfect with a little wiggle room. She loves it, she just rides along with her head out, its so cute! Lots of compliments! This back pack is made really well. Very sturdy!!

My 8# Pomerke fits comfortably inside and seems to like it. The only negative comment would be that depending on how heavy your dog is, the straps pull on your shoulders after a while because there is no built-in frame. Make sure the waist strap is fastened as this will help with the weight distribution. I chose the backpack type carrier because it is less confining for the animal than the halter type, where the animal is in a vertical position with all 4 legs dangling. I don't think my dog would feel secure in that.

We use it to hike with my cat. She's smaller and fits snuggly in it (she's about 7lbs/3kg). I might like it a tiny bit bigger, but it serves our purpose.The clip on the inside keeps her/her harness inside the bag, which is quite handy.My only gripe is that the drawstrings create a u-shape at the bottom, and when cinched make a secondary hole large enough for my little cat. She has yet to try and escape from it and I suppose it provides more ventilation, but I would like to see that closed.
