I decided to use a phantom power unit and boss AD2 acoustic preamp with this. Is it a good choice?

Hi, I am not sure about the preamp, I did try with the phantom power that showed up under "frequently bought together" connected to my "acoustic" brand amp, it worked well. so you should be good I guess. Is there some connector if I wanted to switch this from xlr to a 1/4 instrument cable? Which do you recommend?

The C411/PP needs 'phantom power', so it won't work from a 1/4" socket (unless it provides power, which would be weird!) The alternative C411/L provides a professional three-pin mini XLR connector that fits the body-pack transmitters of all AKG wireless microphone systems.
