Works well!
TLDR: would recommend! I’m a professional dog groomer. For years I’ve wanted to get a “diamond” tip for my Dremel to use on dog nails, but the sand paper ones do a great job and because of the extra cost, I put it off. These were a great price, so I decided to try! Pros: Quality, these bits will definitely last longer than the sand paper ones, saving me time (switching the paper covers) and money in the long run! Great for both big and tiny dog nails. I was initially worried about the groves and if a large dog nail would fit into the space to be rounded and smoothed. It does! Took awhile to get used to, I’m used to a cylindrical, “flat” shape of the normal dremel bit. Also, the little lip, at the top of the bit, is awesome for the tiny dog nails. Trying to maneuver around itty bitty nails isn’t easy, but that little lip makes it so much easier! Cons (maybe?) Grit: the sand paper bit is a bit more coarse and files more quickly. I feel like it take just a bit longer to smooth nails (I trim with trimmers first) with the diamond bit. Mostly on big dogs. Takes a little bit to get used to the difference, could be I’m just “set in my ways”. Overall, I would recommend and buy again!

GAME CHANGER! AMAZING DESIGN!
As a professional dog groomer, I have wasted time and money on regular sand bands, not any more! BEST DREMEL BIT EVER! The shape does a lot of the work for you! It gives you better leverage to get into those really curved nails, makes getting declaws easier, I can do 2 nails at the same time with those groves (professionals only), and the bowl gives another option to help smooth a little extra. I'm used to 60 grit and saw a few complaints about it being closer to 80 grit, but it works amazingly! Better than I thought. 80 grit scares the dogs a little less as it still powers through, but with a little less nose and bounce off the nail. It's easy to maneuver, at any angle. I bought 2 for the better value so I have a back up or one for home, one for work. It's easy to clean, I just spray cool lube disinfectant, but soap and water work too. GAME CHANGER! Never have to buy sand bands again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Pretty good.
I've only used this once but it worked wonderful. Easy to use but be careful when you first use it, it does grab / catch and jerk the toenail sometimes & scares my dog. Noise isn't too bad. Wonderful product for the price. Takes a lot off in a little amount of time.

Works well with difficult angles for dogs nails when they don't want to cooperate
The shape is convenient for nail trimming with a dog who makes you work around him not being cooperative and gives you weird angles to work with. The diamon coated bit also takes off length pretty quickly

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would
I held off reviewing this until I had used this bit a number of times so I could give an honest review. We've had dogs for over 25 years and I've been doing our dog's nails with a Dremel tool, sanding disc and polishing bit all those years. I wish I had had this bit back when I started. I do our dog's nails in half the time it would take me with a sanding disc. Whoever designed this did an incredible job. Which is amazing in itself where most products I always feel are designed by people who don't use the product and the design falls short. This bit is in a category all it's own. The side takes off the length in the blink of an eye and putting her nail in the tip smooths out the rough edges hands down better than any polishing bit. And the quality of the nail when I'm done hands down beats a sanding disc/polishing bit. No more having to stop, wrangle her from trying to get away while I struggle to change bits from disc to polishing, this does it all. I HIGHLY recommend this for any one doing their dogs nails with a Dremel tool. The price is a little on the high side BUT I can honestly say it is well worth the money. I absolutely love it and wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Better for small dogs, not good for large breeds.
I was not impressed. Used on my lab mix and feel like his nails were too thick, hard, for this bit. The grit wasn't aggressive enough for large breed dogs so it became too hot having to hold on one nail. I would try it on small dogs or puppies with softer nails to accustom them to dremel nail trimmings. It would be great if they offered different grits or combo grit options for material removal and buffing/smoothing after grinding. The shaft should fit any rotary tool and the concave design is great in theory. It is easy to use, just not aggressive enough for larger, harder nails.

My friend has 2 dachshunds, & asked if I could order one. She is very pleased with results.

He kicks and screams when we do his nails, this tool saves a lot of time and aggro, used some standard dremel bits before this but it was not as easy to round the nails off nicely.

Finally, one of these diamond rotary attachments actually fits my dremel. I use the dremel 2001 with this attachment and it worked. It is definitely quieter and doesn't make my puppies as nervous as they can sometimes get.
