Hamilton Khaki King H64465733 Automatic Mens Watch

Update after 1 year: The watch still maintains a high level of accuracy, gaining only about 1 minute per month. I only adjust the time when I have to adjust the date for non-31-day months. I wear this watch daily, and it is still in great condition. The crystal has no scratches, and I have only a couple very minor scratches on the case that are hardly noticeable. I typically see about 2-2.5 days of reserve runtime before having to wind the watch, but I rarely go more than a day without wearing it (only on lazy weekends). Also, the Ritche band has held up equally well, so that is a good option to replace or preserve the original band. I stand by my original review of this watch. Original review: I have been wanting a Hamilton Khaki for a couple years ever since i got my first mechanical watch: a Seiko 5 field watch. This watch is a fantastic upgrade with very good accuracy so far. I have owned it for 15 days, and since I initially set it on that first day it has gained only 30 seconds. 2 seconds per day is fantastic according to my research, especially in this price range. It seems to gain more (run a bit faster) on the weekends as I wear it less, and maintains time better during the weekdays when I wear it all day. I have worn it while working at the office, doing home improvements, building things, and playing with the kids. I have bumped the face and body against various objects including tools and raw drywall (very abrasive), and not a single scratch or blemish. Only complaint is the lume isn't the best, but I don't need that for this watch. The band is very nice, and I opted to get a Ritche quick release leather 20mm band to keep the original one in pristine condition. I'm pretty tough on my bands. There are higher priced bands out there, but I like the quality for the money from Ritche. Barton is my other go-to, but black-on-black was out of stock for 20mm. All-in-all, I'm very happy with this watch and hope it lasts a lifetime to pass down to my son.

Absolute gem of a daily watch. Gorgeous finish, keeps time very accurately, and the retro vibe of the day and date windows seals the deal. Can’t recommend it highly enough, worth every penny! Oh and the black finish is spotless.

After researching sub 1k$ watches ended up going with the Hamilton and so impressed with the quality it wears very well on your wrist , leather strap comfortable & like the day/date @ the 12, very happy with my purchase

Extremely happy with this vintage modern piece. Perfect size at 40mm, wonderful dial and automatic system. No battery required, it charges while you wear it and you can also wind the crown for it to charge. It’ll last 80 hours on full charge if not worn—much more than most automatic watches. Hard to see at night even though it has the illuminated dial. This is a classy piece with that vintage/modern look. Accuracy is off around a minute or so after a week, so it will need an occasional correction. That’s all part of the fun on analogue watches. The sapphire crystal glass doesn’t scratch easily, which is nice and I LOVE that it reads the full day of the week instead of only three letters. Feels weighted like a quality watch, but not much as it’s relatively thin. Exposed workings on the back make you want to remove it and admire the workmanship and operation. Unlike our culture of disposal watches this watch has soul and history. Nobody will compliment you on your Apple Watch, but you will get compliments on this (and I’m an apple employee!) :)

I’ve had it for about a month now. Worn it every day. The watch is excellent. Keeps great time. Very accurate comfortable. No problems at all. Quality is fantastic. The reason I only gave it. Four stars was the band the band. It was too small for my wrist I’m just an average size guy so I had to buy a new watchband other than that it’s fantastic.
