The UC46 can mirror your iPhone & iPad screens via built-in wi-fi
This is a bit of a difficult product to review. It's a sub-$100 projector; you get what you pay for. Just make sure your expectations match what this can deliver. This has Airplay Mirroring built-in, so you can beam your iPhone or iPad screen to this projector wirelessly, which is awesome. However, it's pretty loud (fan noise) & has really bad screen-door effect. It's really best at about 80" or less. It has enough brightness to go bigger, but then you can really see the individual pixel squares. No zoom. It has a remote control, which is nice (some budget projectors don't have one). I wasn't ever able to get the focus spot-on; the text on my Roku Stick interface was always slightly blurry. It has a usable speaker onboard (granted, it competes with the fan noise, but still) & a standard headphone jack out, so you can connect some computer speakers or a little Bluetooth soundbar via AUX input. Also puts out a bit of heat, something to keep in mind if you have it in a small bedroom.I would say this is best for kid's cartoons & tossing mobile device games up to play on a larger screen (works with Minecraft PE!). Live-action stuff always looks like you're squinting to get the details...always a bit out of focus & not enough resolution. I also have a portable micro-LED projector, the Fastfox E06S, which is much quieter & has a better picture (granted, more expensive); I was surprised that this much larger (but still LED) projector had noticeably worse image quality, despite having similar native resolutions. So basically, keep in mind that this is probably the cheapest usable projector you can buy & is really more oriented towards an audience that won't care about picture quality (i.e. kids). But hey, it's cheap, it works, it has an HDMI input, you can zap your iOS screen to it, and has decent brightness & size for the money.

Home theatre on a budget.
This projector exceeded my expectations by far. Images come across pretty bright on a wall, for such an inexpensive projector. What makes this a 5-star is value.

Had high hopes with all the great reviews. But this one is a giant Nope ....
Honestly I had pretty high hopes for this projector with all the great reviews on here. The people who gave this thing 4 and 5 stars must have 0 experience at all with a quality projector of 720P or 1080P or greater. This thing flat out stinks. Colors are bad, brightness is bad, resolution is bad, zoom is bad, the remote barely works because you have to point it directly at the IR receiver which conveniently is on the BACK of the projector?! It overheats, it gets hotter than a gaming laptop within 5 minutes of use. The list goes on, but most importantly, the 800x480 native resolution on this is pitiful from any distance. No mounting points for any type of mount or stand either, it's made to sit on top of a table or flat surface only. I was just not impressed at all. Should have taken pics but forgot to before reboxing it to return it. The lumens cannot be more than 300-400 ANSI equivalent lumens, 300-400 TOPS. 1200??? They should be fined for false advertising.I will say that fairly close up, around 4-7ft on a good white/grey wall or better yet an actual projector screen results in a pretty decent image, I'd say in the range of 30-60" projected screen max. But for those looking for 100+" on this, forget it. It's like watching a 260p (480p at BEST) video on youtube from 2005, it's downright awful. I have an older Optoma HD20 1080P projector and that thing demolishes this in every category, and it's from 2009! Yes yes, I know, it's $80, but that's about $70 more than it's worth, so I would never recommend it to anyone unless the price goes down at least 60%. If this was a cute kids projector for $25, sure, I'd probably buy it again just to screw around with it. But $80, that is a failure. Also, the fact that they have "HD" on the image for this piece of junk actually angers me.

Nice picture and easy setup
Nice picture and easy setup, has to be dark to really see the picture. I use at my camp for outdoor movie night and it works great

Works OK but the lens came apart when I went ...
Works OK but the lens came apart when I went to adjust it. I would have returned it but I needed it for a special party and no time to waite for a replacement. I took it apart and fixed it. I don't think it was put to gather correctly in the first place at the factory. The first time I tried to focus it the lens would jam and I couldn't move it. thats when i took it apart.

Make sure its a new projector and not a returned one.
The box appeared to have been already opened and used. The focus dial was hard to turn to the point where it was stuck. The HDMI port would only provide a picture but no sound and the RCA cable port only provided sound....go figure. The picture on the Hdmi was good but because of all the other issues I give it a 1 star.

Worth the price. Highly recommendable for a home theater
Great little projector. I have friends with cheaper models that are very jealous. The only thing that I don’t like is the unic logo in the top right corner on the screen. It’s useless and need an option to turn it off. I also received a UK plug but it’s a standard size cord so I had a cord that worked. Clear picture and ok sound but I run it through speakers normally anyways.
