Length issue
The overall design and materials used in this product are good.But, the length is an issue when using the product as a *barbell*, simply not enough space to add plates to a sufficient weight.

Surprisingly good for the money
I wasnt expecting much from this dumbell / barbell set as it was so cheap but its very sturdily made and the Barbell seems fine even with 40KG on it. There would be room to put 3 plates either end but I'm too weak to lift more than 40! The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is that the barbell is too narrow to really use for Bench Pressing but is fine for Overhead Tricep Extensions, Barbell Curls, Close Grip Bench Press etc.The Dumbell's seem fine as well, they're comfortable, seem sturdy and have a nice hatching. As with any Spinlock Dumbell they are a bit annoying and time consuming to change the weights on but are very secure when tightened so far.
