Why is it recommended not to put in the dryer? or use fabric softener anytime?

Putting Chamois in the dryer or using a fabric softener somehow reduces the absorbency of chamois. If you use it to soak up fluids, you don't want to put it in the dryer or use fabric softener. If you are using it for other purposes, such as dusting, then it doesn't matter. I'm not sure exactly how the dryer and fabric softener effects absorbency, but it does.

- Super Chamois, Extra Large (20x27) are GREAT for MANY things. They are good for washing your car, but I rarely use the full-size Super Chamois. - I take one or two of the Chamois, and cut them into a size that will work for WHATEVER you are cleaning. For example, washing windows may be a convenient size - I'd recommend cutting into 12x12 size. - MY FAVORITE USE, though, (I'm a housewife), is cutting the sheet of Chamois into sizes you can use for WASHING THE DISHES, drinking glasses, pots and pans. You can decide on the size you that you LIKE in your hand. I vary the size, but my choice is to start with cutting a few pieces sized 6x6 inches or 8x8 inches or 10x10 inches. I tuck the clean, dry ones into a convenient box or a handy small container of your choice near the sink. . You can also use a piece of the Chamois the in the shower or bathtub as a wash cloth. Also good for cleaning your bathtub, shower stall. Chamois cloth lasts FOREVER and you can throw them into the laundry. You'll find a lots of uses.

I'm not the seller, but I can tell you they are packaged together. One plus if you want to resell them- they're huge and you can cut them very easily. I do. I love these things! They wash up great and work great every time.
