Has anyone tried to wean their toddler with baby in the house that used pacifier too?

When i weaned my toddler- the pacifier that he used as a baby with a plushie attached was around and visible. He put it in his mouth a couple of times but he did not latch back on to it. He is completely weaned after using this system.
