The product is working just as it said it would. No gas. Regular bathroom trips! Yea!

I have taken a number of these herbs on its own but never together in one capsule until now. I don't have any particular problem right now(I did in the past) but I wanted to take this in order to maintain a healthy gut and to do periodic cleansing/detox. I have been using this for the past couple of months.When I first began taking this I had to use the bathroom more often. Things were being flushed out of my system and in the first week alone I lost a few pounds from just the excess junk being eliminated. Over the next following weeks felt less cravings for sweets or extra portions. My skin began to clear up and I felt more energetic overall.And I did not experience any adverse effects during this whole time. Overall this has been a very effective product with nothing artificial and is something that I will go back to from time to time to keep my gut health at an optimal level.

I am a big fan of Berberine and was already taking both it daily and slippery elm bark occasionally which may be why I haven't see a big difference with this product. I do think it would be a nice gentle detox for many, especially if you haven't already tried those two herbs. Definitely research Berberine, especially, since it has so many benefits.That said, for gut health, I had tried another Bill Rawls product that worked so much more immediately for me. His Vital Plan Advanced Biotic had great results. Its not really a probiotic as I had expected but a great herbal combination that helped my digestive system much more than this Gut Health Supplement. I feel that some of his supplements could be named better since I ordered this expecting what the other supplement provided and this feels like more of a long term detox and might need to be named as such to better meet customers expectations.

The Vital Plan Gut Health Supplement developed by Dr. Bill Rawls is definitely not for the casual supplement user. It's definitely the kind of supplement that requires some research prior to use in order to really make sure that it's right for you. I had high hopes for the supplement and some of those hopes were definitely met, though I've ultimately decided to discontinue use as the supplement can definitely have a serious impact.This supplement arrived in a bottle of 180 capsules. You're supposed to take 3 capsules twice daily with at least 8 ounces of water. It's also advised that you take it two hours away from any prescription medications. I'd read about Dr. Rawls and did have some indication of what to expect from this gut health supplement. It's designed to promote optimal digestion, nourish the GI tract, promote healthy bowel function, enhance natural detoxification, and promote gut balance.In essence, this means that you can expect to have your system detox itself with the ultimate goal that along with this detox the supplement will provide the gut with ingredients necessary to restore it to a healthy balance.Anytime the word detox shows up, that pretty much automatically means trips to the bathroom as the system cleanses itself out. The ultimate vision, of course, is that once detoxed you achieve balance and/or this supplement helps maintain that balance.I began taking the supplements as prescribed and initially found the supplement to be surprisingly gentle with the system. Bowel movements typically followed the supplement in fairly short order, but I found it manageable and actually seemed like there was less bloating and my urinary tract seemed to respond well. However, after a few days, and I suspect this is likely normal, I was spending more time in the bathroom and it was getting less manageable.The key ingredients include Slippery Elm Bark, Berberine, and Dandelion Extract. For fans of alternative medicine, these are now powerful ingredients and combining them definitely isn't messing around. The supplement is noted as going through 169 points of third party quality testing. It's also noted as being gluten free, GMO free, peanut free, egg/dairy free, vegetarian, soy free, fish/shellfish free, and free of artificial colors/flavors.I will note that the supplement arrived sealed with a seal under the lid, though the under-lid seal was casually on and slid off easily.I've wrestled with how to review this supplement. My sense is that there's value to be found for those who detox well and for those who have a relatively healthy and clean diet. The harder a supplement has to work, the harder the detox and cleansing and adjustment. This might be convicting myself of not having a great diet, but ultimately I've decided the detox process is a bit too harsh on my body and a bit too difficult to manage given my daily personal and work schedule. While it was certainly possible to reduce it to once a day, I ultimately decided to set this one aside as I'm not sure the issues it's addressing justify the journey.That's for me. I'd research it and figure out if it lines up with your own physical needs. The brand is fairly transparent about the issues that can be addressed and the ways that it can help. I definitely did see some results and some positives come out of my use and can definitely see this as being a positive option for those in need of addressing gut health issues.

I used these to try to heal my gut to restore my microbiome. I was tested and had some deficiencies in certain microbes. I take probiotics daily but wanted to give this a try to see if it could help. I had no problems when taking these.

This is 6 per day, which is a lot.None of the ingredients are organic.However, it has some great evidence based ingredients, not just for gut health, but also will help keep urinary tract clean and free of infection.These can be rough on the stomach and not something I would take permanently.I think the price is high, and 6 per day is too much, so minus 1 star for that.My other complaint - the packaging is excessive, comes in a fancy decorative box which is completely unnecessary. Also, the bottle arrived half empty. Perhaps by nixing the box, and using a right-sized bottle, they could save costs on both ends?More importantly, we're facing a global plastics pollution crisis right now, brands need to be smarter about packaging. Further, most US cities are facing a recycling crisis right now, where they don't know what to do with plastics. They need to either include a smaller bottle, or preferably, figure out a way to pack more into these pills, then fill the bottle to the brim - and give me a 180 day supply in the same sized bottle.

I've struggled with gut health issues over the years, including a Celiac disease diagnosis. I'm very careful about what I eat, but it can't hurt to try to improve my overall health.This supplement has good ingredients and seems to be helping with my gut issues so far. I will say, the only negative is that you have to take 3 capsules and they are quite large.

I honestly don't know what I'd do without this product. It helps soothe and calm my digestive tract, which is constantly fluctuating in inflammatory levels from my Lyme disease, as well as offer some antimicrobial support at the same time; it also helps with consistent bm which is a nice bonus. I take 2-3 pills twice a day. Definitely worth a try if you are dealing with digestive issues like motility, inflammation, mucus overproduction, leaky gut, acid reflux, constipation, etc.
