Great stretchy material wrap
I have this, a moby and a solly wrap + a baby bijorn and the ergo 360. This wrap is my go to because of the stretch and it’s almost like a very think sweatshirt or thick t-shirt material. We live in Southern California and the moby is thicker, so good for cooler evenings. The Solly was great for our Indian summer when it was 80-90° since it’s so thin but the material has no stretch and felt loose after an hour of wear. I’m 5’5”, size 2-4pants and there’s extra material to hang once tied, i would say if you have a larger waistline the solly would be better since it’s longer. You want to make sure you have enough fabric to knot it once tied. Overall great purchase, just wish it was made by a smaller company, like Solly, Wildbird or Sakura Bloom if you’re looking to shop small and made in the USA. But for the price, this is perfect.

My 3rd carrier purchase and this is my favorite!!
I am 146lbs 5’4” size 6-8 pants size with a 8.5 lb baby and it fit perfect. Not too much slack. If you are plus size this may not be long enough! From reading other reviews I thought I was going to have lots of slack but it was just right. This is my 3rd baby carrier. I have a baby Bjorn and a baby k’tan.I bought this one because the others hurt my back.If you are on the hunt for the perfect carrier here’s what I can tell you:This wrap: pros- material is soft and stretchy, it is customizable size and I can adjust it to fit me how I need it to. Material is about as light weight as I think you could get while still being supported. Babies are little heaters! No wrap is going to prevent you and you baby sweating on a hot humid summer day. If you just hold your baby and stand outside on a hot day you will both sweat.Compared to others the price is great! Totally worth it for the ease of being hands free for an hour or too.Cons: I am not sure if there is a way to put it on with out it hitting the ground. This doesn’t matter to me since I mainly wear it at home but just so you are aware.FYI my take on the other carriers:Baby. K’tan What I didn’t like— it defiantly works but it hurt my back. The way the two loops of fabrics meet in the middle of my back in a lump is uncomfortable there is not much lumbar support ( trust me I have tried every way to get it to work. It’s all I used with my first baby) Fabric is hot/ not super breathable. And I could never get that middle wrap to stay tight. It never felt like baby was going to fall it was just uncomfortable. It is just slightly easier to use but honestly if you can do the k’tan then you can use this wrap I promise! So if you want I wrap type carrier just get this one.Baby Bjorn what I didn’t like - it really hurts my back. It puts all of the weight on your shoulders. It’s like wearing a backpack backwards. I want to love it since it’s so easy to put on but I can only wear is briefly. I used it for a long time with my first but I think he has just worn on my back so much that with this second one I need more support. Haha. What I like about the baby Bjorn which is different than any fabric wraps is the head support. If I bend over I don’t have to hold baby’s head (I still do out of instinct but you don’t have to). But this carrier hurts my back so much that bending over is painful.I did like this with my first baby I could turn him around and face outwards at the tall part folds down.I like having both a fabric wrap like this one and the baby bjorn to alternate. I think this one will replace the k’tan totally. All in all this is my favorite carrier !. Hope that helps on your hunt for the perfect baby carrier.

More comfy than a soft-structured carrier but less support
We have 3 carriers (this one, a Baby Bjorn, and a Lillebaby). The Bambini and Me was the first one we bought and I actually prefer it to the two SSCs we have (my fiancee prefers the BB however). Some thoughts:- I find the length of it to be awkward. I'm not a tall person by any means and on the first step of putting this on, the material pools at my feet on the floor. This is fine at home, but it's not particularly great, say, when I'm standing in the parking lot of Target on a rainy day about to transfer my son from his car seat to the wrap. I'm honestly not sure what the alternative would be though. The length is appropriate... it's not "too long." It's more that I'm short... it's just unfortunate that it's an awkward thing I guess *shrug*- It took a LOT of practice to get right. The first few times I put it on, I didn't get it tight enough and my son, who was only 7 pounds, started drooping downward the longer I wore him. He'd start high up enough that I could kiss the top of his forehead. Half an hour later, he was 3 or 4 inches down.- The videos instructing how to tie this make it look so simple to adjust the side straps over a baby's head. But boy what a challenge that can be! Getting my son to sleep in the B&M meant getting him in, bouncing around with him for a few minutes, then once he *finally* calmed down, tucking his head to one side and covering it a little bit with the fabric. My kid had colic so it may be less bad for other babies, but for me and my baby, it was just a long ritual.- If you don't get the cloth dispersed evenly, you can expect some muscle soreness. I one time got the cloth on one shoulder bunched up and my shoulder was killing me a day later. It still hurts thinking about it.- I really do like this wrap though. I like how close I feel to my son when he's in it. It's soft and comfy and I like being able to see his face gazing up at me. It's similar to the feeling I get from breastfeeding. It just feels right.- I appreciate that it's not complicated. I find all the straps and harnesses on SSCs to be overwhelming and I'm always afraid I'll forget something. With this wrap, once you get the hang of it, it's really hard to "forget" something.- It's a lifesaver when your baby is going through a growth spurt or a developmental phase and is being extra clingy. My son is 4 months old right now and seriously... I don't know what I'd do without this wrap.

this ain't no solly
I was hoping to find a less expensive alternative to the Solly wrap, since I gave mine away after my last baby became too heavy for it and have been unable to find a used one for the baby I'm about to have. A few reviews said this was comparable.Ummmm, no.The material is at least twice as thick and the wrap is significantly heavier and more bulky. It is not soft like the solly and does not fold up as compactly when not in use. If we're going to make comparisons, it is like the MOBY wrap, not the Solly wrap. Also, I purchased the heather gray color and in person it's more of a purple gray. Quite ugly.If you love the Moby, I would recommend this wrap (in the striped pattern - not the gray), but for Solly seekers, keep looking. This ain't it.The price is fabulous but I will for sure be returning this wrap.
