Works great
I use this with a rotary nylon brush for cleaning items. I turn the drill on and it stays on the entire time. So far this extension has worked flawlessly for all my projects.

Get to places with your drill that you can't reach without this tool.
I've used a less expensive similar item while building a deck. It was an enormous help in close situations. It finally wore out and came apart. This item is much better made and it will obviously outlast and outperform my old one. Thanks.

Not as Shown. Chuck is not Keyed
This device works okay but you can't get the chuck very tight because there is no chuck key, you have to hand-tighten the chuck. I may return it.

Great tool for that special project
I was using the flexible extention with a wire brush to remove paint from some hard to get places in an old boat I am restoring. It works excellent even at high rpm. There were some places I could not get to due to tight quarters, but the too is well made and worth thr price!

Cheap accessory - does the job
I bought this for a specific need where I had to get a wire wheel up into a boiler but didn't want to subject a die grinder to the falling crap I'd generate. Did the job nicely for the few minutes I needed to use it and appears to be ready for more jobs later. It's light weight and probably won't last too long if used everyday but for occasional work in cramped conditions it fills the bill.

Worthless
I purchased this item thinking that I found a tool that would be an asset for installing old work recessed lighting. I was so wrong, the first time I went to use it it broke and I was drilling on a less than 90 degree angle. The flexible extension wrapped around my wrist and something inside the chuck shaft snapped. Total use time less than 2 minutes. Since I didnt use it the second I bought it the return policy expired and any attempts to reach the company have never been answered. It only has one star because you cant do the review with none.

A little expensive but works fabulous
This is a perfect flex shaft to be used in my drill in my Shou Sugi Ban work. Easily fits in all my drills and can even be used if needed to hold Dremel bits for carving

not as ordered......JUNK
The product I received was not the one advertised !Textbook perfect example of "bait and switch"The one sent does not have an attached keyed chuck, it has a friction chuck that does not work well at all. This chuck will open up and send your inserted tool flying.I've used two pliers to tighten it as tight as I dare without breaking something. This gives me a decent amount of usage time before it loosens up again. The chuck is not permanently attached to the extension, it just snaps into the end, and not well. It falls out very easily when being used. The hand held end in the picture appears to be well made, and metal. The one I received is cheaply made of plastic, and will get very warm with moderate use.And become uncomfortably HOT to hold under extended use. ( note that extended time is 3 to 5 minuets )The held end is nothing like that pictured. The picture shows the chuck attached directly to the handle. The extension I received has a 5 inch extension from the handle to where the chuck attaches.Add 1 1/4 inches for the length of the chuck and another 2 to 4 inches for the length of your attached tool and you now have around 8 inches from your hand the end.The combination of the wobble that this creates and the distance from hand to work makes any real control over your tool virtually impossible.Purchased this to buff out chrome and stainless steal on my Harley. Not likely to be used due the fear of scratching something because of the lack of control or when either the chuck or buffing tool goes flying.I don't think it is worth the price and aggravation involved in returning this item. What a waste of money.Let my poor choice save you from making the same mistake.
