Aygrochy Inline duct Fan 150mm/6 inch, Extractor Fan with Variable Speed Controller, using for Bathroom, Office, Grow Tents, EC motor 2800 rpm, UK Plug

The fan comes with a controller and a plug in temp sensor. Power goes to the fan via the 3 pin plug then the controller can be placed approx 2 mtrs away and the temp sensor another 1.5 mtrs if needed. The fan has 10 speeds and the controller ramps up the speed in steps so keeps the current draw low. The ‘auto’ setting wasn’t quite as automatic as I’d hoped as in it won’t vary the fan speed to suit the temperature set point. Instead you pre-select the desired speed setting and the controller turns the fan on/off according to the temp or humidity set points. You can give it maximum and minimum set points to run the fan within so it’s quite flexible, will take a bit of trial and error playing with the settings but it will make sense (note you have to put a value against each one of the high/low temp and high/low humidity before the controller is ready to take over (those parameters flash at you indicating they need attention) I am not tech savvy but managed it fine. The fan itself is well put together and can be easily split away from the casing and withdrawn without disturbing the ducting either side. Fan is quiet and doesn’t vibrate at all, on speed 10 the air noise is more pronounced.

The fan and controller are good quality and the fan is well balanced. The only problem I have (which is a fairly big problem) is that at slower speeds (below half) it emits a very loud hight pitched whistle that makes it unusable to have on at night. Edit* The high pitched whistle was the alarm letting me know the temp probe wasn't connected! Once connected it was completely silent and worked brilliantly. Uprated to 5*

The product broke after 6 months of use several days a week for several hours at a time to extract fumes from my laser. I have ordered another of the same but can find no way of contacting the supplier to resolve this issue. Worked well when it worked. The new model is much quieter and more refined then the previous. Thank you for quickly responding.

I use it for a laser cutter as an extractor fan, and so far it works pretty well. Easy to access for the impellers to clean off the dust, very quiet, yet strong enough to eliminate all of the smoke. I can recommend this product if the extractor have to remain in the same room as the working area. The adjustable switch is a real plus.

We tried this with no other noise in a cellar at night in the countryside which is as close to silent as you get. It sounds like a jet engine. You can hear it two floors up. You can see that on the photos. Both watches measure the same. It is a fan and seems to work as a fan. But it is absolutely not quiet in any way! Returning as NOT as advertised. Well over 100db not 32db as advertised. Waste of my time.

The controller seems a bit rubbish. It only wants to display in F which is frustrating. I thought I could set my minimum and maximum temperature settings and it would adjust the speed accordingly to keep it between them. But no. It comes on when above the max temp or below the minimum temp and switches off completely when between them, to me thay seems a bit useless. It also makes more noise than a cheapo swift air xflo even at the lower settings. All in all a bit rubbish for the price and not very useful. Mine will be getting sent back for sure. It does blow air, and seems of a reasonable quality hence the 3 stars instead of 1.

Ich bin so sehr überzeugt für Meine GrowBox 1,20mx1,20m Mehr als der Hammer gäbe es ne Nummer Kleiner würde die es mit Sicherheit auch tun. Für die Steuerung per Handy für eine einfache Einrichtung einfach die App Smart Life herunterladen. Der Rest ist selbst erklärend in der App ist allerdings keine Möglichkeit von Fahrenheit auf Celsius zu stellen aber das ist ja nicht wirklich von Bedeutung. Alles lässt sich dadurch Steuern sowie überwachen überprüfen. Einfach und Genial. Der Monitor sowie der Lüfter sind von höchster Qualität ! Monitor kann man übrigens in Celsius umstellen ohne Probleme ! Bedienungsanleitung ist in gutem deutsch übersetzt! Ich hoffe ich konnte Helfen! Absolute KAUFEMPFEHLUNG !

Tengo un pequeño huerto en casa de hidroponía y en las etapas de invierno cuando hay que mantener la temperatura dentro, propongo en un armario diseñado para esto de buen tamaño y este extractor de aire funciona de maravilla, ya que puede tomar decisiones prácticamente por sí mismo. Por ejemplo, lo he programado para que a cierto, nivel de humedad empieza a funcionar. aunque también en fechas de altas temperaturas, lo he programado para que a cierta temperatura comience a funcionar. En general, estoy sumamente satisfecho con la calidad de este extractor, y no dudaré ni un solo momento en hacerme de un segundo

Très puissant c'était le but recherché, je l'utilise pour amener l'air chaud de mon poêle au pellet de ma pièce bas vers ma pièce à l'étage. Seul point faible il est assez bruyant.

Ottima ventola! L’Aygrochy da 100 mm sposta davvero tanta aria e il regolatore di temperatura è comodissimo per automatizzare tutto. Silenziosa rispetto alla potenza, si monta facilmente e fa bene il suo lavoro in bagno, cucina o piccoli ambienti. Super soddisfatto!
