Corsair 5000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case (High-Airflow Front Panel, Corsair RapidRoute Cable Management System, Two Included 120mm Fans, Motherboard Tray with Fan Mounts) White

After spending quite a lot of time looking at various cases I finally decided to get the Corsair 5000D Airflow RGB. Prompt delivery, as always with Amazon Prime. An aesthetically pleasing and high quality case. There’s lots of space to fit everything, even for complex custom water cooling loops if required. I’d highly recommend the RGB version with the additional fans and controller which seems good value for money. The current spec of this build is as follows: Asus RoG Strix Z790-E-Gaming Wifi Intel i9-14900K CPU Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD XT AIO CPU Cooler (Push/Pull fan configuration) 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium 6600Mhz DDR5 RAM Nvidia RTX 4090 Founders Edition GPU 1x 1TB Crucial T705 PCIe 5.0 NVMe Drive 2x 2TB Samsung 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe Drive I also purchased 4 additional fans which I installed into the side of the case. Cooling is excellent, CPU and GPU remains at relatively good temperature even under load. The amount of space for additional internal hubs and controllers is ample. Also dedicated channels behind the motherboard allowing for nice neat cable management. I would recommend this case to anybody that is competent enough to build a computer. 🙂

Overall: It's a great case for anyone, it is large so make sure you measure your availabile space before ordering. Plenty of space on the inside for large GPUs and I'd imagine a custom loop. I'd argue it's good for first timers to use as of the amount of space. CPU & GPU in use for reference: R7 5800X & RTX 3070 Do I recommend? Yes Positives: Basement has lots of space for cables (especially if your not using HDDs). Plenty of spaces for fans and water coolers. 3 2.5Inch slots on the back of mobo mounting area. Front IO features audio, 2 USB A and 1 C, reset and power buttons. Front, back and top dust filters. PSU dust filter. Plenty of room for large GPUs. Cable management straps included. Airflow is good, everything inside stays below 65C. Negatives: Top filter feels a bit too restrictive of airflow. Cable management is a bit annoying for going up the case, could be thicker. Could of sent some rubber covers for front IO not in use to stop dust.

I initially contemplated transporting it from the EU to the UK but ultimately chose to purchase a second unit for the UK. I've always been partial to Corsair cases, having previously owned the 4000d airflow. Transitioning to the 5000d airflow feels like a significant upgrade. This model boasts an array of detachable compartments, increased easy-to-clean airflow nets, and the added functionality of a hinged glass door. The design is accommodating, allowing for greater ease when setting up, particularly when connecting cables and fans. Aesthetically, the case is a stunner—sleek and modern. It's refreshing to see such a refined design at this price point. My initial reservations about fitting the Z790 TOMAHAWK were put to rest—it integrates seamlessly.

Coming from a Lian Li o11 Dynamic this case for me had a lot to live up to. But unlike the o11 this case housed the absolutely massive 4090 like a champ. The 5000d has plenty of space, amazing cable management at the rear side of the case. Includes even more velcro straps if needed. The side fans mount onto a radiator type bracket, making it super easy to install the fans and not have to cram your hands into small areas. Airflow is honestly better than my previous case as well. The case it self is dead silent even when kitted out with 10 fans. The Included fan hub is also a nice extra touch if needed. Overall the case was a joy to build in. Totally worth recommending!

Out of the Box this case met all my expectations, good quality material and finishing's. Packaged superbly well and also arrived sooner than expected (always a bonus). Upon building my Pc i started to realise what a great choice id made as everything fitted together so well, was a joy to see. This is a mid size tower? in my eye its BIGGER than your standard mid towers, mind you the lower priced towers always turn out to be smaller Cpu/Gpu ovens. This Case is very spacious, Very! Cable management is also perfect. The Air flow is amazing...its dropped my Gpu temperature by a whopping 18 degree's whilst playing Vanguard(max specs and load). My pervious case was a mid tower oven, so glad i switched. The only Reasons for 4 stars are minor really so don't be put off. What i noticed on the front panel has no red light to indicate when the hard drives are loading, nothing in the wiring either, also sadly the motherboard standoff screws didn't fit. bit weird (had some spare to hand thankfully). The most annoying thing i found was the Case's Vertical Gpu mount. I purchased the separate corsair PCI express lead for this of course. When you mount your Gpu vertically it works and looks great, but its very close to the glass side panel and restricts airflow to the Gpu fans. This heated up things a lot, enough for me to not even consider that option anymore and return the lead, shame. Other than that I'm very happy with this case, my new AIO fitted wonderfully with so many options on your build this one will keep you going for some time. Great bit of kit still in use looks smart fast delivery

This case is a gem! Its airflow design keeps my components frosty, even during intense sessions. Plus, it's spacious and customizable, offering great value for the price. Another standout feature is the level of customization it offers. With plenty of room for additional fans (up to 10 120mm fans), water cooling options, and removable drive cages, I was able to tailor the case to my specific needs without any hassle. But perhaps the best part of all is the price. Considering the quality and superior design this case offers, the value is simply unbeatable. I did a lot of research before purchasing, and nothing else came close in terms of bang for your buck.

The case was unexpectedly large, mainly due to me only looking at the picture and not the measurements. Anyway, the case is awesome. I bought all good hardware and got a poor quality small case to begin with. Later I realised that the case must be the reason for my high temps due to a lack of room within the casnfor airflow. This beast has loads of room. So much so, I have to put it on the floor underneath my desk. In the case I found a surprise......it has built in, a pwm fan hub that supports up to six fans. Previously I had two three way splitters to have 6 fans. Now I have 8 fans which is way more than I need. The build quality is excellent. This is what you expect from Corsair and this doesn't disappoint. The fan filters are easy to get to on the top and front of the case for when you need to vacuum them. I do it once and week and there is a significant build up of dust, mainly due to the great fan pull on the front intake fans. Don't hesitate just buy. There are so many ways to build with this case with very little restrictions. Make it your own. I love mine.
