We live on a small (3 acre) acreage (3 acres) with a barn, and as such have gone through soooo many hoses. This hose is by far the best hose we have ever had. It doesn't leak. It doesn't drag on the ground. It hangs at whatever height you want (so it isn't on the ground) pivots perfectly. It was such a hit I have since ordered 2 more. We have one in the barn, one on the side of the house and one discreetly at the front. When it retracts it is super smooth. locks in any position (with a simple extra pull). It is an initial outlay but it last so much longer than any other hoses and it stops me from destroying my ground flowers and cursing. The video is of the one in the barn and the ones with the brick background are on the side of the house. Sturdy material. Super long (well one is 100 feet and 2 are 50'. I can't say enough about these. I even convinced my sister to get one!

Fantastic customer support! I purchased two of the Giraffe hose reels a couple years ago. I experienced a minor issue with one of them and contacted customer support. They were very responsive and resolved the issue very quickly. The product itself is impressive. The hose pulls out of the reel as expected. The reel very efficiently stores a lot of hose in a compact size. With a simple, determined pulling action the reel automatically recoils. During the recoiling, the winding automatically indexes back and forth inside the reel to 'organize' the hose inside the reel (hence the 'efficient' comment. The reel mounts easily to walls. I have one of the units attached into a brick wall and the second anchored into a studded drywall wall. For the winter months, I'm pleased that the reel assemblies can be easily removed from their brackets within a few minutes for storage inside. Note that Giraffe offers their retractable garden hose reels in two hose diameters of 1/2" and 5/8". For reference, the 5/8" is very close in diameter to what most people think of when they think of 'garden hoses'. If you want a really long hose, the 1/2" version allows for a longer hose because it doesn't take up as much space in the reel as the 5/8". Impressive hose reel!

Great product! We did have a slight issue with the hose not reeling back in after the first season of use. I reached out to the company through Amazon and they sent us a new one within a few days. Amazing customer service. We have 2 of these and would highly recommend.
