Pros:-My first-ever softener and, after one week, I love it. The chalkiness in our water was gone immediately.-Installation was easy, after I had a plumber re-route my outside hose bibs so they'd be connected BEFORE the softener.Cons:-No instructions came with the unit (you have to get them online. A few more diagrams/photos would've been helpful in spots.-The company twice sent me the wrong-sized connection for my house water pipes. (The unit arrived with the wrong-sized fitting. Then, after I called for help, the company sent me an identical wrong-sized fitting. However, they did finally get me the correct fitting in the third attempt. And I must say they were very responsive each time, and got the fittings sent to my house quickly.)-Adding the softener into the water supply line definitely slowed the flow a bit --most noticeably in the shower. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable.Bottom line: I'd definitely buy from the company again and I'd get this unit. Now I'm just waiting to see how it performs over time.

Great system. Saved a bundle with this system by installing it myself. Been operating flawlessly for a year now.
