I love my Roland digital piano. My job regularly takes me away from home and my acoustic piano for long periods, but the Roland is beautifully portable so it comes with me, and I can continue to practice. The touch sensitivity is great, and the sound totally authentic. I actually prefer the touch of the Roland to that of my 'proper' piano My only gripe, and the reason for the 4 star rating is the music stand. It is too small, and has no clips to hold the music in place. I am generally a memory player, but I need to learn from music before committing it to memory, and I find it immensely frustrating when the notation suddenly flops onto my hands, or onto the floor when I am playing. I would still recommend this product to anyone, beginner or advanced. It's a superb digital piano.

The sound is amazing. Sounds really nice & realistic. However, 10 days after light use, all black Keys become VERY clunky. Very clunky mechanical noice. They also got clicky. The mechanism is flawed and very, very heavy feeling. I would suggest that if you’ve never played a real piano, stay away from this. It is very tiring on the fingers. I will stick with this as the mechanical noise doesn’t bother me very much, it works perfectly fine, just clunky, but I would not purchase this again, I would go for Yamaha or kawai.

Piano came alright at first, but then I noticed one key G was faulty. Every time I played it, the speaker would rattle. I had to return it.

Ho acquistato questo digitale perché avevo bisogno di un digitale professionale, ad un costo contenuto e con un peso adatto alla trasportabilità in completa autonomia. Ottimo suono e ottima meccanica. Possiedo già un pianoforte digitale roland V piano acquistato tanti anni fa e posso confermare che la meccanica è la medesima e la sensazione di suonare su un vero pianoforte è realistica. Il peso è adatto per la trasportabilità per una persona singola. Il suono è realistico e la potenza sonora è adatta per una stanza di medie dimensioni. Naturalmente possiede entrate per ulteriori casse acustiche. Non ho provato tutte le funzionalità perché -essendo pianista classico- non ho interesse nel suonare con altri suoni che lo strumento permette di usare… ma il bluetooth sicuramente mi permetterà di usare app utili per suonare con orchestre digitali e poi la connessione midi mi aiuterà sicuramente per il collegamento con il Mac.

Ich spiele das Roland FP-30x jetzt schon eine Weile und bin wirklich rundum zufrieden. Die Tastatur fühlt sich sehr natürlich an und macht einfach Spaß, egal ob Üben oder längeres Spielen. Klanglich überzeugt es mich ebenfalls, alles wirkt sauber und angenehm. In dieser Preisklasse bekommt man meiner Meinung nach kaum etwas Besseres. Es fühlt sich wertig an, ist zuverlässig und genau das, was ich mir von einem Stage-Piano erhofft habe. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung.

Je suis en 3ème cycle spécialisé de piano (classique), au conservatoire. J'ai déjà joué sur des pianos à queue superbes (steinway D, fazioli , yamaha CFX...), et j'ai une excellente sensibilité au toucher. On sait déjà que le gros challenge d'un piano numérique est celui de reproduire la même sensation au toucher que celle d'un vrai piano à queue. Je pense que ROLAND a parfaitement reussi son challenge. La qualité du clavier est vraiment professionnelle, on a l'impression de jouer sur un vrai piano (en plus on peut modifier avec une combinaison des touches la lourdeur du clavier!). Le son de base du piano standard est époustouflant (grosse amélioration par rapport au FP30). En ayant un bon casque (ROLAND RH 5) et avec un peu de réverbération, j'ai eu l'impression de me retrouver sur une scène de concert avec un vrai piano à queue. Franchement, si vous êtes étudiants au conservatoire mais pour des raisons logistiques vous ne pouvez pas acheter un piano droit/à queue, il ne faut pas hésiter à se pencher sur ce fp30x. Petit bémol à signaler: -quand on fait des enregistrements sur le piano et on les sauvegarde sur la clé USB (pour les réécouter sur l'ordinateur, par exemple), les morceaux sont sauvegardés seulement en MIDI. J'aurais bien aimé le format MP3 ou le WAW, car le MIDI nous oblige de passer par des logiciels-son payants pour reconstruire le son... L'alternative c'est d'acheter une carte son (entre 50 et 100 euros), mais bon je trouve cela cher pour rien, ROLAND aurait pu faire un effort sur ce point. Peut-être bientôt une mise à jour?

Der Pianoklang ist absolut neutral und natürlich. Die Bezeichnung der Soundengine mit Super-Natural ist nicht übertrieben. Ich habe vorher noch kein Digitalpiano mit so echt wirkendem Ton gehört, wie auf klassischen Aufnahmen. Noch nicht einmal GEM - bislang für mich der Benchmark - kommt da heran. Es ist der reine, klare und kraftvolle, trotzdem liebliche Steinway Sound, der hier zu hören ist. Ich spreche wohlgemerkt über den Klang mit gutem Kopfhörer (ab 150 EUR Klasse). Über die internen Lautsprecher klingen alle Digitalpianos schrecklich. Da braucht es schon Hifi Lautsprecher, die alleine das Vielfache eines solchen Pianos kosten + Verstärker. Doch der beste Klang taugt nichts, wenn die Klaviatur nicht so gut ist, diesen Klang auch zu gestalten. Und das ist das wahre Highlight dieses Geräts. Ich habe ein echtes Klavier und auch ein Kawai mit der CA-Holztastatur, die überall als die Beste gilt. Doch beide stellt das Roland in den Schatten. Die Roland PHA-4 gilt als die Beste bis 1000 USD, oder bis 1500 USD. Ich würde sogar vermuten bis 2000, denn mein CA kostet so viel. Sie erinnert an Flügeltastaturen und ist eher schwergängig (Anschlaggewicht), macht das schnelle Repetieren, etwa für Triller, aber trotzdem sehr leicht. Leichter als das "richtige" Klavier und auch das Kawai, die beide leichtgängiger sind. Klanglich ist es allen Kawais, die ich gehört habe, deutlichst überlegen, die klingen bis heute künstlich und nicht wie die echten Kawai Flügel. Ich habe mit meinem Exemplar im Auslieferungszustand Glück und keine klickenden Tasten, was bei der PHA-4 Tastatur leider oft auftreten soll. Hoffentlich bleibt das auch so. Die Tastatur ist sogar vergleichsweise sehr leise. Ein Kritikpunkt ist die Bluetooth-Verbindung mit den 3 Android Apps, besonders dem Piano Designer. Den braucht man, um z.B. Parameter wie String Resonanz und Stimmung einzustellen, die nicht über die normalen Bedientasten erreichbar sind. Mit Apple soll das einfacher gehen.
