beautiful smell of fennal
I love this product. I generally put a few drops on a tissue to smell it or in a neutral oil and then in a diffuser. Works really well.

The smell has a calming effect
15 ml oil in a dark glass bottle. The color of the oil is almost transparent, colorless. The oil immediately spreads its bittersweet aroma with hints of freshness throughout the room. The smell has a calming effect, makes it possible to clearly perceive thoughts.

Helpful oil with great health benefits
Essential pure Fennel seed oil, a nice size for me at 15 ml amber bottle.Alcohol freeNot tested on animalsSolvent freePrice stands at £12.48DO NOT APPLY DIRECT TO SKIN - a carrier oil is needed to mix with the drops, I use cetreban emollient, almond oil and emu oil.If enters the eye, wash out with coconut oil or milk, not water.States on the description how many drops to use, please read it, very important. So what’s so good about Fennel seed essential oil?Having done a bit of researching... this information is very good to know...I never knew fennel oil is found in Sambuca for instance and toothpaste. So it helps :Digestive complaintsSkin conditionsRespiratory problemsAnti fungalAntisepticDiureticStomach aches and bloatBy rubbing with added carrier oil and a few drops into tummy can relieve pain and cramps.Great for fungal nails, helps hairHelps stress and anxietyI find researching a lot of these essential oils, there are a fair few that combat the same ailments. This is why it is so important to read up about the product. I find it very interesting and find it works well.I use as a full body rub after my evening bath or shower.Use a couple of drops in my night cream for faceUse in my facial steamer instead of just waterUse in my diffusersA few drops in my conditioner. Some of Greenwood’s essential oils do not require a carrier oil, but most do, so please ensure directions are read and met. There are a few company’s I use for my essential oils that I have become a custom too and trust. Greenwood’s oils is one of them.Thank you to the seller** I do hope you found my review helpful, kind regards**

Fennel seed oil
Fennel has many therapeutic benefits and is well known as a digestive aid and breath freshener (those little dishes of aromatic seeds (Mukhwas) that are offered in some Indian restaurants include fennel seeds)I am currently experimenting, using a pure organic soap base combined with various essential and cold pressed oils to make chemical free shampoos and body washes for friends and family. Fennel seed oil is packed with antioxidants and nutrients that stimulate hair growth and help with an itchy scalp, so this could be a useful ingredient in home made shampoo. So for my thinning, fine hair I add rosemary, fennel and peppermint essential oils and castor cold pressed oil. Smells divine and theres no chemical nasties either on my body or going down the drain.Fennel seed oil can be mixed with a carrier oil and massaged into the abdomen to assist with constipation or menstrual problems, although like all essential oils there are contraindications and fennel seed oil should be used with care if you are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy. (Always do your research or consult a qualified aromatherapist)Used in a diffuser, the sweet, green, liquorice/anise aroma is said to be calming and an aid to focussing. So another winner from Greenwood. I particularly like that they include dates and batch numbers with their products which reassures me that the oils are exactly what they say they are.

Excellent
I absolutely love this company's unusual range. Most aromatherapy companies offer a generic range, some offer a slightly wider range, but I have not come across a company that offers anything like the exotic and unusual range as this one does. Moreover, they are being sold at very reasonable prices for what they are: unusual and probably not easy to obtain; natural and 100% pure. The only point I would like changed is the lack of a couple of bits of detail on the bottle itself. For example the amount of liquid contained within the bottle is detailed on the packaging and not the label of the bottle, the same with the expiry date. As packaging is usually discarded, this means that particular information is lost with it.The bottle is sealed with a plastic stopper which is easily removed and the accompanying European dropper can be put in its place.Fennel has a liquorice-like smell, but more piquant. It is fantastic for digestive issues. The 100% money-back guarantee shows just how confident the manufacturers are about their products! I am delighted to be able to add this oil to my already expansive collection.

Add to a diffuser for focus or in hair oils
This has a distinctive aniseed smell and blends well with cinnamon or other spicy essential oils. In a diffuser, it's supposed to help with focus and clarity so is a good day oil while working. It also has antimicrobial benefits and is supposed to be good in hair oil blends, especially for weak hair.

Very nice scent
I have never used this one before - I was surprised by the smell - it has a bit of minty scent and it is said to be a very good improvement for skin conditions. At the moment I have made a mixture to test the anti-ageing properties and my skin feels very nice and soft after it gets absorbed by the skin.
