I’ve been really impressed with this TP-Link product so far. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. The connection has been stable and reliable, with noticeably better speed and coverage compared to what I was using before.

Perfection. Using it as a SECOND extender on a daisy chain (multiple extenders where only first one connects to Router then extender2 connects to extender1) i have a series of metal buildings so house 1 has the router next to a window and building 2 has extender mounted on top and house 2 has this extender in a window. I only have 50mbs service but I have 26mbs at end of 2 extenders using this unit. Anyway the setup instructions were very good. Useful tutorial videos and instructions. Set up in about 10 minutes. Only been in use 3 days but have shut off power multiple times and it auto resets perfectly without having to touch a thing. Can’t speak on longevity but initial results are absolute perfection in every way. Ease of setup, auto restart after power loss, and great output signal. Real person not a bot and Highly Recommend.

The app is user-friendly and makes managing the network simple and convenient. I can also block users I dont want to access, only with I would be able to rename the devices to make it easier. Most devices just show up as anonymous. Other than that, performance has been consistently strong and reliable. The signal strength significantly improved coverage throughout my home, eliminating dead zones that I previously struggled with. Speeds are stable, even with multiple devices connected at the same time, which is important for streaming, working from home, and everyday use. I also appreciate the build quality and clean design — it blends in well without being bulky or distracting. Overall, this product delivers excellent value for the price and performs just as advertised. Looking forward to buying an additional one for our RV for our camping trips. I would definitely recommend TP-Link to anyone looking for dependable networking equipment without overspending.

Item is of acceptable quality, and the setup process it okay. You can reset it and such, but there is something to be aware of; you don't have to link the product to an account but for security id say you should. Personally, I like it. Its WIFI 5, which isn't much of an issue if you're getting this to extend the range of your wifi to devices within the house, but if you're going to use this for gaming, honestly look for another one with WIFI 6 at the very least. The Heat level I honestly would say depends on whether or not you're using the 2.4GHz range or 5GHz range as the ladder would obviously raise the heat of the product itself. So again, the heat varies depending on which band you use. Speed is as expected of WIFI 5, it's not exactly the best but can you really complain? You can stream well if you use the 5GHz band, and can even do some light gaming if you really want to. Nothing to serious. As for security, it is going to be as secure as the original wifi source is going to be. But they do offer you the choice of a subscription to implement a built in VPN and such, but beyond that nothing too crazy. It uses your wifi's original password, and would show up [Insert wifi name]-5GEXT or EXT for the 2.4GHz band.

Works like it should! I use this, mainly for the Ethernet port - as a way to connect my land line telephone (which is a VoIP system) to my wireless router. The one I had was requiring a power reset almost weekly, so it had to go! This is well built, east to set up, and does the job. Plus, it didn't break the bank!

I live in a house with a few different people and also work from home which requires me to have a direct line to the internet via an ethernet port. (I'm not tech savvy so not sure if I explained that right.) my internet bill went up significantly and was just an added expense I couldn't really afford and was stressing about what to do about my internet. One of my housemates sent me the link for this and told me I could get their wifi password. I was skeptical at first, but after getting it home I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is great. The Wi-Fi signal is strong. To get an idea of it's range, I'm on the another floor on the opposite side of the house and it works great. When I try to just log on to my housemates Wi-Fi on my phone, without the extender, the Wi-Fi is spotty. But with this, I've never had a problem. The security seems to be good. I can plug my ethernet cord right in to it. And it had never overheated. Overall, I was really impressed. Would definitely recommend this product.

Setting up the extender is a breeze, and the reception has improved notably. I really like the one-mesh technology, eliminating the need to change networks at home.

Very happy with my purchase. What i like about this wifi extender is that you can change the passwords within the Tether app, something you cant do with the cheaper models. Would buy again if required

Works well and easy to install

We have a large shop that is a metal building, very poor reception for data 1 bar at best right in front of the doors and 2 bars of wifi from the house but only in the front of the garage. This was a recommendation on several websites and it definitely delivers and at 35.99 is very reasonable. We now have great wifi in the garage and can therefore make and receive calls as well as texts while in the garage. Set up was easy and it worked flawlessly the 1st time
