After using various Wifi based taps over the years, this product is simply on a different level. Incredibly easy to setup, very far range, almost impossible to fault.A few reasons why it is so good. Firstly if you have a very large garden like me you can create a gateway quasi mesh system to make sure all sprinklers have coverage (not that this seems to be needed, range is far more extensive than even my home security system which by the way can't mesh so already LinkTap is ahead of the game).Secondly the app is super simple to use, has an auto rain system to not turn on, a series of failsafe controls to ensure that even a network outage won't stop the tap from turning on.The third and final great aspect about this system is that it feels and acts as if it was built by professionals for professionals. The devices are sturdy, look like they could withstand heavy weather conditions. Excellent build quality on comparison to other devices out there. Also surprisingly quiet when in operational.All I can say is that I can't believe I didn't discover this item before now. If you are reading this then I urge you to buy this products in favour of any others. Put simply this is the best product out there.

I already made a 5 starts review on my initial purchase of the Gateway + Tap. Now I bought only the tap as I wanted to have different watering plans for my Roses and my hanging baskets. After I've fitted all the tubes and drips it took me literally 5 minutes to set this on. Brilliant product. The only fiddling think is to put the batteries, but the tap that I have from the previous year is still running o the same batteries (I've shut it off the tap during the winter period and kept it inside), so you don't have to do it very often. I don't know if the batteries will last 2 years but mine they are still on 100% after one summer of daily usage :).

I have been using timer controlled watering systems at my main house in the UK and my holiday house in Greece for about 8 years. I have two circuits in the UK and 14 circuits in Greece. While I have been reasonably happy with the product I have been using I really wanted watering controls which I could manage on my iPhone remotely from anywhere, and receive status reports about completed watering sessions. I found about LinkTap and decided to start with 3 units in Greece 5 weeks ago. Up to now I am totally convinced by the system. Installation was quick and without any problems, the app works flawlessly and is very user friendly. The user support service is fast, efficient and friendly. The cost compares well with rival products on the market. I will gradually replace all my old controllers by LinkTap units.

Can’t fault this product. Is very simple in concept with what it does - turns water on or off - but it allows you control with different timer schedules and also control directly via your phone. I now have two using a suitable splitter- one for a lawn sprinkler and one hooked up to a cheap microdrip system. All works brilliantly together. Took a bit of setting up but relatively straightforward. Recommend wholeheartedly.

After spending quite some time researching smart irrigation systems and reading many stories of woe, the LinkTap system is a breath of fresh air. The product arrived promptly and was super easy to set up, taking no more than 10 minutes until it was functional. The app/interface is really intuitive and doesn't require any learning or delving through instruction manuals - it is, quite literally, plug and play. And the best bit ... it just works! Sounds simple, but I no longer have to spend hours watering the garden and can rely on the LinkTap system to switch on reliably in accordance with my pre-planned schedule. It doesn't miss a beat. I've already had the benefit of the system whilst I was away on holiday and the borders have already started to look better than when I was watering manually. I've got three timers linked through a single gateway and will not hesitate to add more when it becomes necessary. Thoroughly recommended!
