I’m in my thirties and have had acne since I was twelve. At this point in my life I search the internet for “cures” and then buy it, try it, and move on. I don’t have high hopes for anything BUT I think my search stops here. One a day has done more for keeping my acne at bay than years ago when I was on Accutane. I’m so very happy to have found this. What I think is odd is that I’ve tried vitamin B supplements before and nothing happened (except an allergic reaction to a high dose I got at the doctor’s office). When I felt depressed, a 5 Hour Energy made me feel good but this is a different B vitamin. I no longer have cravings for 5 Hour Energy, which saves A LOT of money each week. I suffered with mild to moderate acne from my early teens until almost 35 years old. On a whim I tried this after seeing a compelling youtube video....worked like a charm. I took one 250mg capsule daily along with one tablet of L-cysteine 500mg daily and niacin 500mg every other day (much less than is recommended for severe acne) and it worked wonders for me. I can't believe my skin and neither can my husband. For the first time in my life I am going outside without makeup and its very freeing. If you suffer from any form of acne I really encourage you to try this. After clearing my acne with this L-cysteine and niacin, I started using The Ordinary products on my skin and it is glowing. After taking this daily for the first 3 to 4 months, I know take niacin 500mg, Pantothenic acid 500mg, and L-cysteine 500mg once every other day and it has kept my acne at bay the last 6 months with no side effects thus far. I bought this for my hormonal acne. For the first few days I noticed some digestive discomfort but it’s subsided. My skin is starting to look a lot clearer.

I bought this vitamin B5 hoping it would help with my acne.It seems promising, but unfortunately, it caused some digestive discomfort for me.I wish I could keep taking it, but the side effects made it difficult.Giving it 3 stars because it might still work well for others.

Has helped eithmy hair growth

This product is a miracle worker. I have been using it for a month (6 pills a day). I normally have trouble swallowing pills, so I would pour the content of the pills in applesauce. At first it was bitter, but I got used to the taste. I'm taking it to help with acne I developed from wearing masks. It has also helped with my hair. Definitely buy if you're struggling with acne.
