It's the perfect weight so stays put when a towel is pulled off. Looks very nice on the counter. Liked mine so well I purchased this for my daughter.

Bought 2 of these for our RV because we needed counter-top paper towel dispensers for the kitchen and bath. These are GREAT products that are heavy enough to stay put (even while driving!) and are designed and effective at preventing the paper towels from unraveling on their own, while allowing the user to easily pull as many towels as needed, with just enough tension to make tearing off the paper towels easy. Definitely recommend this product!

Was lovely when I bought it after having the silver version in another home and kitchen. It’s been a couple of months and now it looks watermarked and I tried everything to remove it and no luck. Already past the return window. Won’t buy it againUpdate: I contacted customer service and they authorized a return and a refund. Amazon by far has the best CS

Absolutely love how well I can rip one sheet using one hand. So glad I purchased this paper towel dispenser. I use Costco sized Bounty select a size sheets. The first roll I installed was almost empty so the ratching system did not work that well. Started to work perfectly when I put a brand new full roll and it continues to work to the end of the roll every time.It has been a couple of months of using it daily and I am very pleased to have made this purchase. I thought the price was a bit high for a paper towel dispenser but it works so well I don't mind the cost.
