I bought this as part of my homemade pano gear. I have an FX camera with heavy lenses and it copes very well with the weight. Like most parts it is nicely CNC machined and black anodised.

I use this with the DH-55 pano head from Gemtune for Circular Rotation photography. It is perfect as my camera is rather large and need the longer brackets, as opposed to a regular "L" bracket. I just have to make sure I have everything locked down when I rotate the camera as one time I lost the camera off my tripod (had a backup strap, though which caught it before hitting the floor.) Previews of the attached pictures look oval, but they are perfect circular mandalas.
