Horribly patchy, no shine, doesn’t dry well. Very disappointed. Colour is “Matter of Fiction.” Avoid if you’re thinking of trying this product.

LOVE #139- Matier of Fiction🤍. Okay so at first i was like $9 for a nail polish is crazy but i gave it a try (especially cause i’ve had bad experiences with products from this brand being expired). Anyways so I tried it. 1st coat was UGLY, i let it air dry with a fan for 5 minutes, then applied 2nd coat, looked beautiful but still needed a little more (also let it dry for 5 minutes). Then i did a 3rd coat and let it dry for 10 minutes (i was also fanning it). And then added a Top Coat from Essie brand and it looked AMAZING. I don’t know how to do my nails but these were personally my best and i’m so happy with the results. I was scared it wouldn’t turn out good, the point is doing thin coats and waiting a good amount of time between the coats. Give it a try, I love it ! (Pictures show 1 coat -3 coat (pic outside looks way diff) and a video of how the color looks inside)

Painted nails for me usually chip just after a day or two. I did not have much hope for this, but am writing this review and sharing the photo 8 days after initial application and still no chips! I applied two coats of step 1 gel couture polish (color shown, Matter of Fiction), and one of the gel couture step 2 top coat. I did reapply another layer of top coat about 4 days in, but that’s it. I am a mom of two, with two dogs and my hands are always in water. First time I’ve ever been impressed with a nail polish enough to write a review. Will definitely be trying other colors in this line.
