Great rolling pin. Whats nice is this rolling pin is the same diameter or thickness across its entire length. Most rolling pins are either pretty short, or curved, so its thicker in the center vs the ends. This allows whatever you roll to be very even. With the bands, it allows you to be extremely precise in thickness rolling. The bands are easy to put on, and just store them in a plastic bag near the rolling pin and pick out the set you need. You can take them off easily, wash the pin and bands in the dishwasher which is great too. It is basically a solid cylinder with no holes or gaps like some others where food/water/gunk can get into crevices. Would purchase again without hesitation!

I just used this rolling pin for the first time, and I love that it's so light weight. Before I was using my mom's old wooden rolling pin with the handles on the ends. It was so old, bits of grossness rattled inside and would flake and fall out on my pristine pastries. So I knew I wanted a rolling pin with no openings for bits of gunk to collect. This smooth metal rolling pin fits the bill. Its light weight makes maneuvering easy, and it's super easy to clean. Floured bread dough doesn't stick, and it can be put in the fridge to cool off if needed. The measurements etched? lightly on its surface allow the user to roll dough to the correct width. The silicone rings slide on the ends and allow for the dough to be rolled to the proper thickness, which prevents uneven baking. What I wish, though, is that the rolling pin came with a way to store the rings without having to take them off/on the pin. For now, I slide the rolling pin inside my silicone pastry mat, and keep the rings in a baggie. As other users mentioned, having the different sized rings in different colors/marked with the size would be appreciated.

My husband bakes and the one thing that he was having a hard time with was rolling out dough to the right thickness. This pin makes it so much easier to roll out dough for him. He really likes that it's metal so he can chill it if he's working with temperature sensitive doughs. Works great for rolling out large and small sheets alike. I recommend one for the baker in your life.

This is a great product, does what it's supposed to do. However I took a star away because they is no size printed on the guide rings. They bothered to print the product logo on the interior of each ring, but not the thickness of the rings, this is both inconvenient and hampering.

Excellent product. It does a great job. Easy to clean and the rings fit securely and stay out of the way when rolling fondant. Will be ordering the longer one as well.

Very happy with my new rolling pin. It is super solid, no seams or ridges to wash out, very easy to clean. The ease of use is only brought down by the ring spacers because I have personal coordination issues using them properly, but the rings are silicone, solid and beautifully even surfaces that are super easy to switch out and to clean. There is a fantastic measure on the pin that helps you know the width you are rolling. I used to have to bring out a ruler, this is sooooo much nicer. I bought this pin because a co-worker gave me a recipe for cookies and let me in on her method of rolling out, which is to use a frozen roller. The stainless steel is supposed to hold the cold and allow for less stick and an even spread of the butter into the dough. Looking forward to trying it out.

Works great.Easy to roll and get perfect thickness.

The roll9ing pin is great. Light weight, durable, and easy to clean. My one and major complaint is that it is in mm only! Since I live in US, we do NOT use the metric system and needed to convert all of the rings to inches and write them down.. However, NONE were the correct size (3/8 inch) I needed. I love the sturdiness of the pin but unfortunately I have to return it. I am a Cottage Baker and really need a rolling pin with US units of measurement.

I had no idea you could actually measure the thickness of dough or pastry - I always thought it was down to experience and guesswork! Now I know better and this is a great little tool with a choice of four thicknesses. cleans easily and being stainless steel it cleans up easy and if you need to have it cooler, it is easy to run under a cold tap and quickly dry and re-use. So glad I purchased it and delivered so speedily too.
