Bought this bcoz by some miracle my super ancient Macbook Pro was still working, but had limited ports. And I wanted to hook it up to 2 monitors for a more comfy working from home set up. But I ran out of ports for a floating keyboard, a mouse and something else. So I bought this. I'm not technically savvy, I connected this to the Macbook and everything else connected to it, so it did what I needed so I'm a happy customer! Thank you! Highly recommended! Note: sincecthen, RIP the Macbook but the product is still going strong!! Please no judgement on my dust collecting product. I'm allergic to dust :)

This product solved a problem on my PC that was driving me nuts. I have a Beelink EQ14 and MINI‑S12 / S12 Pro. On this model Wake‑on‑USB (keyboard/mouse) is NOT supported. This meant that when the PC went into sleep, I could not wake it back up via mouse & keyboard unless I powered off then back on. It turns out a powered USB hub was the answer and this device saved me hundreds of dollars as I was ready to throw the Beelink away and buy a new PC
