Can this be easily unmounted and mounted to charge it?

Easily mounted: yes. But, if you do the double sided tape, you’re stuck! No pun intended, but once you stick that tape somewhere, it’s either there forever, or you have to get new tape if you want to move it somewhere else. Also, all the adds show that it’s 12 inches long but it’s really just less than 8 inches.

How do you turn them on if you don't want to use the motion-sensing option?
