Ease of applying
this frosted spray paint work great. I was almost tempted to buy the frosted tint but this is way easier. Just spray and go. no measuring or cutting the tint. The easiest you will find in covering up the garage door windows and still let in sunlight.

Great results, easy to use and cost effective
I used this to frost some glass candle cups to use with a Skull chandelier prop. The original chandelier used real taper candles (faux LED candles had not been invented yet) which were very messy and difficult to light while the chandelier was hanging up. The cups I purchased were clear and the LED candles I'm using didn't look very "real". One can of this fixed that. The process was very easy, just follow the directions on the can. I had to apply several coats to get the coverage I wanted. I think the curved shape of the cups had something to do with that. Anyway, I'm really happy with the results. Now, I can turn the candles on with a remote and the flickering flame in the frosted cup looks real enough. I'll post pics of the finished product once I get the chandelier out of storage.

Best option for the price
We have a glass front door on our house, and while we have a shade for it, I always found the idea of frosted glass to be desirable. I looked into it and decided that a spray-on solution would be the best for my needs as some of the more "do it yourself" options required a bit of work and could prove to be costly and time-consuming. The Rust-Oleum Frosted Glass spray had mostly positive reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. Verdict: it's a pretty excellent product! A few notes about the application process: Application is simple, but it requires a bit of patience and a consistent spray. Follow the guidelines on the canister and keep the nozzle about 10 inches or so away from the glass, using steady, sweeping sprays. I found that I didn't need to mask the wood around the glass as it just sort of "dusts off" from the surface of the wood, but I suspect that any smooth surfaces are worth masking (metal, plastic, finished wood). Another thing that is worth noting is that you absolutely should have the area well-ventilated and it's good to only do a couple sweeps at a time, letting the area air out a bit between sprays. I went all-out on my first pass and the "dust" from the frosting material got absolutely everywhere. It mops up with no issue, but it will make a mess if you blast the window for an extended period of time. Second, it's good to let it dry and make a few additional passes. My first pass seemed good, but once it dried I did notice a few inconsistent spots where the frosting wasn't quite as dense. Allowing a few minutes of drying and a few additional coats will ensure that the glass gets evenly frosted. I also decided to do a couple of vertical sweeps after the horizontal ones to break up any linearity in the spray. It worked really well. I also hand-cut a mask with Frogtape and plastic to include an artistic feature/view hole and it came out fantastic! All in all I highly recommend this product and have been very happy with the results!

Stinks, but worth it
A warning- this stuff STINKS. You will need to ventilate the area as much as possible. That said, I really love the look of it when dry.

Good product but for privacy at a distance! Clean gently!
Due to a water leak, we had to remodel our bathroom a lot sooner than expected. In our remodeling, we turned our tub area into a shower. There is a large window that was right next to the tub. When getting estimates, we made sure to voice our concern of privacy in the shower, as that window faces a shared back yard with other townhomes. The construction company suggested this product and we agreed to give it a shot. In the daytime, it would be fine for privacy. The issue is night showers after dark. With the back lighting, it creates a very clear shadow for the world to see. The other issue is the proximity. If this window were on the opposite side of the bathroom, it would be perfect! As it is in the shower, not so good. In conclusion, this product is great for general privacy. Not great for close up privacy. Edit: the spray comes off fairly easy. We used windex and gently used a squeegee. The squeegee scraped multiple places off with minimal pressure. Be gentle when cleaning!
