They say specifically no caps, but in the images, I see things things that look like caps to me. Is there a cap to stop liquid drops from coming out?

They do not have a cap. What you see is called a slip luer syringe. It pushes out all liquid. Great syringes for what I need in rescue

How do I sterilize these prior to 1st use if using to collect colostrum?

I would boil them same as pump parts. Test one first but I think they would be ok boiled as they seem to be same type of plastic. Just pull them out in time.

Why are they considered "one time use" syringes?

If you look in the "features and details" section it states they are reusable.

What type of plastic are these made of?

None of these products come with directions or what they are made wjth. You can bet all of it comes from CHINA. Look for AMERICA made to find ananswer. I use them to give my dogs and cats medicine. I don't use any injection materials.
