Great socks for diabetic husband. Do not fall down.

These soaks comes in two colors white and black. The black are getting hard to find. Which makes no sense to me. They last long and wear well. The fit nice and comfortable not bunching or an over excess of soak around the ankle. So the ankle is where the ankle should be. That means a lot when wearing and buying soaks! Very comfortable socks. I have a hard time finding socks that don't crush my legs. I have relatively thin legs, but for some reason most socks dig in and leave an awful impression, leading to poor circulation and sore feet (I do not have diabetes, and aside from bad socks, my circulation is fine). I originally bought a couple of pairs of MediPeds in a store, and when they turned out to be quite comfortable, I purchased these, and they do not disappoint. They are soft and stretchy, they breathe well, and sometimes I even forget I am wearing them. These seem to be higher quality than the original pairs I bought. I specifically checked the materials they were made with, and went with these based on reviews and a side by side comparison of these (45% Cotton, 42% Polyester, 9% Polyester, 3% Nylon, 1% Lycra Spandex ) with the other style of MediPeds (63% Polyester, 35% Coolmax Polyester, 2% Lycra Spandex )

These socks feel and look great, wear well and wash up fine, and they fit as expected, but we had to return 2 of the 3 packages we bought because they were slippery on our carpet. He had his shoulder replaced and needed to climb into bed in a strange position, and the socks kept slipping and he almost fell off the bed. After I put a shoe on his foot he could get in. We kept the one package since we had opened it and we use the socks, but are very careful to be sure he has a shoe on to climb into bed. It made for a dangerous and scary situation.

I like this product so much. They are soft, warm, fit well, and do not bind into the leg.

At the age of 97, my Dad only wears Medi-peds. His go-to Medi-peda are white and evidently that’s his color of choice. But when I saw him sitting in his nice black slacks and white shirt at his band performance I happened to notice his white socks were just a little too white for a semi-formal outing. He now wears black Medi-peds instead of white on those days. The nicest parts about them are that they do stretch enough to get on without him breaking a sweat and they are a very nice weave. For seniors they are awesome….for everyone else? Still awesome.

I used to love these socks. The key words are "used to". These were once great socks. Now they are a much cheaper version of the socks they once were. They are made of a bad quality of material than they once were and not made well anymore. The seams pull easily and they are thinner and I am sooo disappointed as I used to love these socks. Can't anything stay good quality in this day and age? Do the manufacturers think we won't notice when they use cheaper materials and don't make them as well?

This has been the second or third time that I have ordered mediPEDs. I was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of years ago. An on-going issue that I now has is swollen feet. To make matters worse, my left foot swells more than the right one. Thus, I needed to find socks that would stretch to accommodate my left foot, but yet stay up. Someone recommended mediPEDs. I opted to buy the mediPEDs that are for males, since I normally wear a size10 and have wide feet. The mediPEDs are super easy to put on. I like that they are soft and cushiony on my feet and then stretchy on my legs. The socks are thin enough to be able to wear with most any pant shoes. I have worn my mediPEDs several times, and never had a sock get too stretchy. I put them in the washer and dryer along with my other clothes and they turn out fine. I highly recommend mediPEDs for anyone who is a diabetic or has some type of foot issue. The socks allow for good circulation and won't leave a mark on your leg from the band. Also, they are designed to keep your feet cool so that sweat won't build up in the socks. Because the blue and black are so similar in color, when I purchased more I opted just to get black. That way I won't have to try to match up the socks. Lastly, if you aren't satisfied with the socks, there is a full money back guarantee.

These are very good normally wear Dr Scholl diabetic socks, have worn these for a few days feel great.
