I was iffy about this bc a tension rod should not cost nearly $30, but I’m pleasantly surprised with it. It’s very sturdy and I like the spring tension much better than having to twist the rod for tension. One end also has the adjustable button you push in which I think really aids in getting the tension just right. It also comes in pieces so you can add/remove them to fit your wall like I did in my photo. The cushion on the ends feel nice but I’ll have to see how they hold up for after Christmas, as it may or may not get stuck to my wall. Otherwise it holds up my garland and lights very well and is easy to install.

To hang blackout blinds

I got these for the massive windows in my apartment and they work so well! I have over 5 panels on them and they are able to support the weight. Install was very easy after getting the hang of the way to twist.

This holds well some heavy curtains, but I placed in the middle a yarn to give extra support. But I am happy with it. It was hard to assemble as I did it alone and the length as wide. You might want to need a second person to help you.
