Bought this for the convenience of the easy change filters and to replace our 10yr old leaky system. Installation was fairly straight forward, I was able to reuse the old drain/discharge adapter so was happy to not have to drill any additional holes in the drain pipe. Install took about 2 hours total, including removal of the old system and trial/error of the new component placement. A forewarning that this comes with a 3 gallon tank, was too large to stand upright in either corner of our sink cabinet, I ended up laying the tank on its side in order for it to fit under the plumbing and behind the garbage disposal. I needed more 3/8” tubing for my installation, the provided tubing was about 2 feet shy of being able to install everything, I was able to recycle some of the old tubing from our old system so I was spared a trip to the local hardware store. This system is fairly loud when it is producing water for the storage tank, the air relief valve is actually incorporated in the spigot above the sink so there is a very noticeable gurgling sound while waste-water is being discharged. 24hr initial sanitation/purge is required on this system so if you’re hoping for clean water right away then pack your patience. Water quality is very good, TDS is around 40 after the remineralizer, down from 180 TDS from our straight tap water. No taste/Oder, smooth silky feel. I’m actually looking forward to my 1st filter change, no more unhooking tubing and struggling with a spanner wrench to remove the filter housings. I have used other Aquasana branded products in the past and this product is the quality that I expected it would be, replacement filters and customer support are shipped/based here in the U.S. which is a rarity these days.

I try to find a perfect water filter and finally found this product. My husband working in the Environmental industry and is pretty familiar with all water quality standards. We checked our county water report and found lead, PFAS, Ecoli ets problems. This product has NSF standards and can meet all of our requirements. Even the filter changing price is higher than we expected. but the quality is worth the price. it's easy to install and the taste is perfect. We all love it!!

I love this water filter, I even use it in my humidifier and it has made a big difference.

Great customer service! I received the system fast and well packed, with all parts, and instructions that were fairly easy to follow. Unfortunately, the middle filter (the RO itself) was damaged at the drain connection, which leaked badly. I called Aquasana customer support at the number provided by Amazon, spoke to a real and extremely knowledgeable person in Texas, and was immediately sent a replacement filter and hose connection. Good company and, aside from the broken part, it looks like a very well made system.About the broken part, a note of caution: the middle (stage 2) filter housing has a plug inlet for the vent hose. The plug itself is robust, but it is rimmed with a red collet made of very thin red plastic that locks the hose fitting in place. This collet is not tough. If it survives shipping, treat it gently during install, because looking at what's left of mine, it doesn't seem like it would take much of a bump to crack it.

This RO system was easily installed by us, the homeowner. We took advantage of the online installation video and used the installation guide enclosed with the unit. We have had it installed for a month and are happy with the product and would recommend this system.
