Good rod holder bungee strap
I have replaced the wide, nylon rod holder straps on my bass boat with a couple of these. They hold the rods just as well, look better and are not in the way so much. The Velcro on the old ones was worn out and I wanted something better, although the old ones gave me good service. After you install them you can unscrew and trim the end of the cord to suit your needs. The cord stretches, but not much, but you don't need to put a lot of pressure on the rods to keep them on the deck. Some have reported they broke the eyelet, but that's not happened to me. If they do, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a stainless replacement eyelet.

did not hold up
Mine came apart as teh cord slipped out of the holder. easy to fixe if you don't lose the end piece in teh process. Problem is not will not stay fixed. I found them almost useless.

Note: no stretch
Bought these thinking they might replace traditional bungee style rod straps for my bass boat. BIG MISTAKE. These have zero stretch and are utterly useless for my application. My fault for not reading the description carefully but honestly I can't imagine anyone using these for any kind of rod holding capabilities on a boat if there is no stretch.

Worthless
If you think cheap is good........I disagree. Just got around to installing after months. Within 24 hours went in the garage and one holding 2 rods had broken. Junk

B- not very good at what it was designed for
Product is easy to bn install but the cord is very stiff and does not hold rods securely. The original product was better.

Doesn't stretch
Does not stretch so I'll be using a bungee instead. No fault of the product, just my oversight

Cheap inexpensive upgrade to your boat for more rod storage space. Easy to install.

Exaclty what I wanted. Matches the factory one on my 2017 bass tracker 175txw. The boat only came with one. I wanted one for the other side of the boat and this works perfectly
