As a personal trainer with over 15 years of experience, I am always looking for quality recovery and restorative tools for both myself and my clients. The Gaiam Yoga Bolster has exceeded my expectations. First, it is incredibly comfortable. The fabric is soft and inviting, and the density is just right. Some yoga bolsters are either too firm, heavy, and bumpy, or so soft that you sink into them and lose the support you need. This bolster strikes the perfect balance. When I lie on it, I don't feel like I'm squishing down into the filling like I do with some overly soft bolsters. It provides support exactly where I need it while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. Another feature I really appreciate is the handle. Yoga bolsters are naturally a bit bulky, which is necessary for proper support, but the built-in handle makes transporting it easy and convenient. It's also surprisingly lightweight compared to many other bolsters I've used, making it simple to move from room to room or take to a class. What has impressed me most is its durability. I've owned this bolster for over two years, and it is still in excellent condition. The shape, support, and overall appearance have held up very well despite regular use. To help it stay in great condition, I do recommend keeping it indoors and avoiding lying on it when you're extremely sweaty. The fabric is absorbent, which contributes to its comfortable feel, but taking a little extra care will help preserve it for years to come. I train hard, and so do many of my clients. Add in the stress of everyday life, and restorative work becomes an essential part of overall wellness. This bolster has become one of my favorite tools for recovery, relaxation, and mobility work. Some of my favorite positions and exercises to perform with it include: • Supported Child's Pose • Legs Up the Wall • Supported Spinal Twist • Supported Straight Leg Bridge • Reclined Cobbler Pose If you're looking for a comfortable, supportive, lightweight yoga bolster that makes restorative yoga more relaxing, I highly recommend this one. I like the versatility of the uses. I n ver thought i would like it but i do. It even suvived a puppy attack. So its now not used as much. It is expensive but it is the right balance of soft, firm and size that makes it perfect
