Pokemon TCG: V Battle Decks Venusaur

I was very nervous to buy Pokémon cards on Amazon or online for that matter, because of the reviews in general. The box was opened but I don’t think it was gone through, the deck box that held the cards was not opened from what I could tell. All the cards were accounted for and manufacture Quality (meaning not been handled.) I was very pleased with the deck but it was advertised as battle ready, comes with a Venusaur V card (as suppose to as it’s the Venusaur deck) but doesn’t come with Bulbasaur or Ivysaur. So essentially a 60 card battle deck is actually 59 because I can not play that card. I really wouldn’t recommend for a starter player, other wise good deck.

This is a great deck! Reviewers who complained about doubles don't understand how pokemon works. You always have doubles in standard decks. This deck is great and ready to play out of the box!

This is a battle deck that focuses on using a Venusaur V Card as the main pokemon. This Venusaur is special and does NOT need to be evolved and it does NOT act as a stage 2 evolution card. If you are a parent looking for pokemon cards for their child who likes to keep them in a binder/box and show off the cool foil ones. Don't get this! There are a lot of duplicates of cards that are just your standard everyday card. You will have unnecessary clutter. If you are getting into the online game or just the physical one. There are better decks to learn from. If you are like me and want the physical card and the online code for the deck this worked out for me. If I was a unsealed collector this would be a different story. The box had seen better days. Only reason it's 4 stars and not 5.

Greta condition and brand new!! And For the people saying they can’t play the venusaur v card with this deck, there wrong, it’s a basic card you can play it as a basic Pokémon, same with the blastoise v deck and for anyone else complaining about too many energy and duplicate cards… it’s a deck for playing the game! Not for collecting, if you wanna collect buy booster packs, the game is meant to be played with a deck like this
