I can pinpoint the roof water leaks. No problem thought the roof shingles.

A great item for doing wall fishes. It has saved me time and I don't have to shove a piece of 6 ga. wire through the ceiling anymore. As usual magnepull lives up to it's reputation.

Wished the description was a little better, unlike the bigger products this company sells this only has a range of about 1/2" to maybe 3". Would not work thru a standard 2x4 wall. If you wanted to see where the other side of a piece of paper is or perhaps a single sheet of sheetrock, then this is your gadget. No returns for a $55 item, boo.

Useful, however the magnet not powerful enough.

This product does not function very well through walls are double layered walls, does not work very well on locating the other side of the wall
