It's Murad
Murad is one of the leading skin care products for all Spas, Salons and used by eEstiticians all over the world. This keeps my skin looking silky, like class all day. Doesn't clog doors and it's reasonable price allowed anyone to try it. Look if you honestly try it and, you dislike it, just send it back. But I've used it for years and at 53 I'm constantly thought to be 33-36. Who doesn't want to hear that. Loves it . Kinda wish Murad had a ambassador or influencer deal.

My favorite skin cream
This recovery cream is truly amazing for the skin. It moisturizes and gives me skin the glow it needs. I also like the smell of the cream.

My skin didn’t like it
I live in Colorado where the cold and windy winter weather can suck all the moisture and wreck havoc on your skin. I’m always looking for something to quench the thirst of my dry skin because the only thing that seems to work is Cetaphil mixed with Aquaphor, (yes I use it on my face at the suggestion of my friend who is a Dermatologist) and it works great. However, we all know that petroleum is one of the worst products that we can use, so I’m always searching for something better. Murad has great products that I’ve used faithfully in the past and discontinued use when I decided I don’t want to use all the chemicals that make up his products but I thought I’d try with this as this ingredients in this are better than petroleum. I think it’s a good product, and a little goes a long way. It felt nice on my skin, smell is clean and subtle, not too thick after emulsifying it on your hands first, it absorbs well and my skin felt moisturized when I woke up. Sadly, my skin broke out in a rash on both sides of my nose after 3 nights of use and so I had to stop using it. If this had not happened I think I would have finished using it but would not have purchased again, I think it’s a bit pricy, especially when one can get better or same results with as something cheaper. My search continues….

Face Paste
This is the intense recovery cream, which is the worst Murad product I have ever used It is thick, it smells terrible and it certainly doesn’t repair anything. In fact it makes your face feel terrible as though a thick smelly paste has just been applied. Save your money and get their other products.

Thick - only for dry skin
Murad hydration intense recovery is very thick. A little goes a long way. It reminds me more of a cleansing balm than a lotion with its texture. If you use too much it can quickly become greasy and be too much product for the face to absorb. I read another reviewers comments about using with a serum and that really helped with application and absorption. Made the cream much less heavy. I use the murad rapid dark spot remover with the cream and have gotten really great results. I only use the cream at night as it does feel heavy. I would only use in the AM if you have really dry skin, I have combination oily acne prone skin. This hasn’t irritated my skin or made me break out. If you have JUsT oily skin I wouldnt recommend this for you. I could see it being too heavy and possibly clog pores. It has a nice refreshing scent as well. Doesn’t smell like old lady perfume or anything. I didn’t experience any tingling or cooling sensations as others have mentioned. Murad products have worked well for my skin.

Best for day use as a makeup base.
A 20 year Murad customer, I find this product basic for moisturizing and wrinkle smoothing. I use it during winter when I don't need SPF30. Light texture and smooth application, does not last very long. Same heavy packaging as other Murad products that disguise small portions. Competitor products are just as good and less expensive.

Lightweight, but works great!
I use this with their recovery serum. Both are very lightweight, but have amazing coverage. I can still feel it when I wash it off at night, when I put on Murads retinal youth serum and night cream. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it. I live in the desert, which has a tendency to suck all the moisture out of your body. No worries though, this puts it right back in.

I have always had very dry skin and I spent years trying so many moisturisers to find one that didn’t need to be reapplied throughout the day. I came across this from Murad when I received a small sample in a skincare subscription box. For me personally, it is hands down the best moisturiser for my very dry skin. I apply it in the morning and that’s it, my skin feels soft for the rest of the day. The formula took a bit of getting used to, as it isn’t a cream consistency as such, you have to take a small amount and let it melt into your skin as you apply it. I’ve now been using this as a moisturiser for several years, and haven’t found anything better in the meantime. My only complaint is the price. I have to wait for it to drop in price (which it does a few times a year) before I can afford to purchase it, but I always stock up when the price drops. I realise everyone’s skin is different and that different products work for different skin types, but for me, this is perfect.

Goes on skin beautifully and feels wonderful.

Silky smooth, intensely hydrating, this cream looks thick and heavy in the pot but melts into the skin instantly. I absolutely love it.
