Nice quality and good variety.

Not beginner friendly
So, I'm not going to say too many bad things because the book is great and the instructions are not bad. My only issue is that there's not a glossary of the knitting terms used. I picked this book up as a beginner trying to expand my knitting knowledge and make blankets. I ended up having to google half the terms to understand the first pattern. So, not really for beginners, and that's fine, But overall it's a wonderful book and I would recommend it to others.

Something to do with down time
Back in early April, I fell (or flew) down the staircase in my home and shattered my left ankle with a high impact triple compound fracture. I was lucky that there happened to be a specialist in that sort of injury in a nearby hospital because otherwise, I could have had to suffer an amputation. I am still in a boot with a cane or walker going through physical therapy, but at least he didn't have to amputate. I've crochet and knitting presents for my husband's family feverishly in my extended down time. This book has given me new stitches to use and has literally saved me throughout this unpleasant obstacle in my life!

So many lovely patterns to choose from. You can incorporate them into other patterns which I will. Patterns have graphs as well. Thus easy to follow. I just copy it our and use my magnetic board to follow each row.

If you love to experiment with design and want to be challenged, this book is a must! Easy to read instructions and photos to help along the way!

Great book. Instructions are easy to follow and there are different levels from easy to hard. The squares work out quite big and you have choices of how to put them together. Good addition to my knitting library.
