Mine looks a little different from this one with 2 lightning ports and 2 headphone jacks but no, mine doesn’t work. The lightning charging port works but the audio jack doesn’t.

Not sure why some are saying it fits the iphone x and the ipad pro when they both have different plugs. i guess you could use the adapter with phone

The old iPad Pro has a lightning port which is the one the description refers to, only the new iPad Pro uses usb c

I am wondering if that lightning conector is only for charching or it also support kind of tranfering data (for example using garage band app on ios)

I use it to play music on my I-phone through my car audio system. But it is poor quality and causes scratching as and interference in the sound. I quit using it and threw it away.
