I purchased the Autel TPMS tool, programmed them and had them installed on my 09 Sonata limited. They work great and without the dealership price tag.

My local garage wanted me to buy TPMS sensors from a dealer for them to install with my new tires. Instead I bought four Autel TPMS sensors and an Autel TS501 programming tool. I used the TS501 to scan two of the existing sensors and get their IDs. The two remaining sensors were defunct so I used the TS501 to obtain their IDs from the car's computer using the TS501's OBDII cable. I then programmed the four new Autel TPMS sensors for the make/model/year of my car, and with the IDs of the four original sensors, all surprisingly easy. I then had the garage install the newly programmed Autel TPMS sensors in the correct wheels. The car did not think anything had changed so no ID relearn was necessary. I saved money overall and now have the Autel TS501 tool for future installations and have learned all about TPMS. Great sensors and a great tool.
