Okay, we bought this for our cats as a part of their gifts from “Santa Paws” and they are STILL not bored of it weeks later. Plus, whatever catnip was included with it was amazing! Our cats love catnip, but this stuff made them super chill and made us question if it was actually catnip! LOL. Seriously though, this scratcher box sits on our living room floor and multiple times a day I hear the cats scratching away. We have two cats that actively use it and it is still in great shape as well. Our third kitty is currently ill, but she would probably be using it also if she weren’t isolated. I would definitely recommend this scratch box to anyone with cats. Not only has it decreased the scratching on our sofa, but the box contains all the little bits of cardboard that do happen to come off when being used. We will absolutely be ordering another when our current one gets worn out! Who knows when that will be though, because this one is definitely getting its money’s worth. I would have expected a higher price for the quality (but, please don’t go raising the price)! Good value. Works exactly as intended, if not better. Entertains my cats for weeks so far. What’s not to love?!

*** UPDATE: I posted my original review on June 12th and it's now September 7th- my cats really loved this thing at first and for the first couple of days of having it they were in and out of it but then suddenly they stopped using it. It's been over 3 months since I got it and they haven't used it in 2+ months not even once and haven't even looked in it's direction (not exactly sure when they stopped using it but i'd say it was about two weeks after getting it- first day they were in and out of it for hours but then they stopped using it less and less as time passed and then eventually stopped all together). While this is really well made, is cute and I thought for sure my cats would love it since it resembles a cardboard box which my cats love unfortunately they didn't so it's now in my gigantic pile of other things I got for my cats that they don't use. I have a family friend who does animal rescues so i'm just going to give her this as well as all the other stuff my cats don't use so at least it's not going to waste and is helping other cats out 🙂. So word of advice if your cats are as picky as mine are i'd avoid buying this or get it (because you never know they might actually love it ❤️) and if by chance your cat(s) don't like it you could always donate it to animals in need like me. *** I have four cats and my littlest cat (my little girl Sahara) is the runt of the litter and has been super tiny her entire life- you'd think she was still a kitten if you saw her but she's 4 years old and is barely half the size of an average sized cat. My point is is that even with how tiny she is she still manages to take up over half this box when she's in it and my other cats (Nightshade, Cleo and Mufasa) are all average size and they barely fit when they sit in it. To be honest i'm glad that I ended up buying a size large because at first I was going to get a medium sized one. Side note I triple checked everything so I know 100% that I got the right size and wasn't accidently shipped the wrong size. I just wanted to let potential buyers know because I know how much of a pain it can be to get the wrong thing, have to return it and have sad furbabies haha 😿. Other then that i'm really happy with this purchase- my cats love it and have been in and out of it for hours since I got it, it's extremely easy to put together, it's really sturdy, I got the blue waves and red swirles designed one and it's really pretty and the colors are vibrant but the only negative I have is that I feel like it was a little overpriced and could've been cheaper. It's basically just a cardboard box with a cardboard scratching piece in it so not exactly luxery items (you could probably easily make one yourself at home if you wanted to) but my cats love it and that's all that matters 💕😽

I started using these deeper boxes because I got tired of cleaning up cardboard on the floors. My cats & I like these boxes and one of my cats even sleeps in the boxes after she scratches. Very sturdy & I'll keep buying these because I can just turn them upside down and dump the loose cardboard pieces into the waste basket. It did take my cats a few days to decide to use them but now they use them all the time.

I have a 20lbs cat and he loves his box! I was worried he wouldn’t fit in it, but he fits like a glove :) And it comes with a little cat nip, and he is a sucker for some cat nip.

My petite adult kitty, who weighs about 7 pounds, is a typical cat who loves to lay in and play in boxes in which deliveries arrive to our home. I got tired of keeping unattractive boxes around for a while after each delivery so she could have one and decided that even though I balk at spending $15.00 for a simply printed cardboard box, this would be a great solution. My cat surprised me in that after years of no interest she likes the horizontal scratching surface in the bed of the box, a feature I didn’t notice when I purchased it. It assembled in seconds and is well made with the pieces fitting neatly together. It was quite dusty & required that I sweep up, so I suggest putting it together on a smooth floor or counter to make this easier. My cat does sit in it however, I am quite disappointed that the box is too small for her to lay down in since this was the purpose of getting it. Of course, I saw the dimensions before purchase, but just assumed my rather small cat would have no problem with fitting into this box any which way she prefers, but I was wrong. Since she likes to scratch in it, I now feel committed to this box and another regular cardboard box for her to lay down in! Well, we must make these fur beings happy. :) I do wish someone would make a larger size like this box. Please?

I have a large cat and he loves sitting in boxes. Super easy to put together and is stable enough to hold my big boy.
