Q: Is there a way to make it vibrate longer? It shuts off after 30 minutes and there only way to extend it is to shut if off manually and turn it back on

No, the owners manual says it is that way as it is not meant to be a parental replacement but a short term soother.

Q: Can it be used on a bed ?

The concern for us with beds is our strap could get caught on the baby's clothing, so we cannot recommend that. However, if you can find a place on the crib that would not possibly come in contact with the baby and still rock the crib, I would see no reason not to try it.

Q: can you use this on a bassinet?

Yes, I use it on my Mika Mickey bassinet and it’s one of our baby’s night time routine. He loves the soothing, rocking, And it puts him right to sleep.
